I get 95% of my referrals from my blog. The good thing about having a money-making blog is that you inform potential referrals about how they can earn from a program you're promoting. Also, you can post your own payment proofs to show that the site is actually paying members.

Have you try forum? i would say forum is the best way to get referrals and at the same time making contacts & communicate with them directly. some forum do not allow ref link like mylot and there are also forum created for links exchange purposes.
