I just heard and since I am a big fan of The Beatles, I was a little shocked.
There are those who say that Paul Mc Cartney is dead. They say he died in a car crash in 1965. There was a Paul look alike that had won a competition for looking like Paul. He took Paul's place after some surgery. He was also a musician and he learned to play as a left handed, which Paul was. My best frined who is a musician, made a very good point. What if all this is true and the "new" Paul is more talented than the real Paul? And what about the other three Beatles? How come they didn't say anything? Would ypu imagine what will happen if all this is revealed after Paul's deat? There are documentaries about all this and the secret messages the Beatles put on their album covers to let us know Paul is dead.

This has been floating around since the 60's. There used to be all kinds of theories and gossip about them. I think they must have been the most gossiped about band in history. Might even be in the Book Of Guiness Records. lol I am rather sure that if this were true the truth would have come out before now.

The existing Paul, huh? Maybe that is why that last gal divorced him. lol I think alot of people already know for sure. It is a silly theory. Like I said it has been going on for years. I would disappear after being his girlfriend too. Never cared for him.

A silly theroy just to keep your mind occupied for a while. We can never make up our mind since we don't know. And never will.

I am a huge Beatles fan and have been aware of this conspiracy theory for many years. The rumours started I think with the release of the Abbey Road album when they are walking across the crossing and Paul is out of step and barefoot. And the number plate of the Volkswagen said 28IF. This was interpreted as Paul would be 28 IF he was still alive! Then it just spread from there. I have looked over the websites with all the "proof" but I am not buying it.
Paul is Paul, the same one that he always was.

Would anyone actually really care?

This is all not true. None of this is real. And they never put a message on a record back then. It would take too much to be able to do that. It might of sounded like that when the record was played backwards. But this is all a scam. Paul is the real Paul. And thats that.

My dad is a fan of Beatles and since I'm a kid I've been hearing Beatles songs playing whenever he's home. But I've never heard about him talking about such theory. I have not heard about this too from others. So I don't know whether to believe this gossip or not.

Whether truth or not, yes it makes our mind working, indeed. But we shouldn't really believe much on it as there were no evidences to prove them.

lol. Yes i remember being fascinated by this as well when i was younger. My friend and I both used to listen to the music. And freak out! If you listen to Strawberry fields forever, at the end of the song. You will hear him say "I buried Paul". Creepy right? Well if your listening for that then yes! But looking more into it I realized he actually says "cranberry sauce". But there are other examples of this. And it is pretty weird. If you listen to I am the Walrus. Towards the end you can hear Paul says "bury my body" clear as day. And if I remember correctly. Per the conspiracy, The supposed person who replaced Paul is Billy Shears. Who is just an alias of one of the band members, when they recorded Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. I believe the Beatles got wind of all the fan speculation and crazy Theory's. Therefore they played into it a little bit. And had some fun in the studio. But whether people believe it to be true or not. It is still really interesting and entertaining for me at least! :)

It is interesting to discuss with friends. Have you seen the signs on the albums?

I always keep an open mind. Nothing is impossible as you say. I just don't make a decision. Only about the things I know and I can reach. It is possibel that they heard the rumors and made jokes in the songs and album covers.

Yes and no. If you look at some theories it might be true. But then again, do we see what we are told to see? Or do we see it by oursevles?

I am a huge Beatles fan and have watched the documentaries on this whole Faul thing and I just can't believe it. I'm almost positive that the other Beatles would not go to all that trouble to cover something like that up. The things that I think are most ridiculous are the whole "his teeth went through his face and made him look like a walrus" and that Heather Mills was Rita (she wasn't even born until 1968.) So yeah... I'm not buying it. I think it was all a joke the Beatles were playing to see how far it could go.

I've heard of this, been going on forever. Someone started a rumor, and The Beatles, being the jokesters they are, started going along with it. Apparently there's clues in all of their songs, like if you play some records backwards,or on their album covers. It's all just a joke that some people take too seriously.
