Do you believe that she was raped?

A rape case was in the news today, involving a certain "Pamela" and a diplomat. Well, this has been an issue for quite sometime, but it was just now that a CCTV was shown to prove that they were lovey-dovey when they go to the condominium of the diplomat.
It was shown on a CCTV , how they were walking hand in hand and at the elevator were seen kissing.
In my opinion, Pamela willfully went with the diplomat and crying "rape" seems doubtful.
What's you opinion guys?

Yes, Simplyd, "Pamela" was not raped... I think she was not paid with the right price...

Let the wheel of justice roll... and let us see if who is telling the truth...

We don't know what happened in the bedroom, so it is difficult to tell if it was or not a rape, but it reminds me the Strauss-Kahn case last year in New-York -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_v._Strauss-Kahn -- ; at the end the charges were dismissed. Public/reach people can be a target of choice to obtain compensatory damages, but it does not mean that they cannot be true rapers too...

It is awful when people take advantage and make false claims like the woman in the Strauss-Kahn case supposedly did, because then it puts in question other people that really were victims. Rape is a terrible crime that impacts a person not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. This is bad enough, but then when the victim is not believed about the rape and/or his or her actions are put on trial as if he or she asked for it to happen, especially when it did happen, that is even worse.

I've been hearing about this rape case since it's all over the news and radio commentators had been raising the issue as to what extent a diplomat is covered by diplomatic immunity. I guess every one has to get down to the root cause of this incident. If the girl went with the diplomatic, had been holding hands and they've been kissing all the way to the guy's room then rape would be hard to prove. No wonder, that diplomat was allowed to get out of the country because the girls reputation is already in question.

Seriously you think that if you kiss a guy and go to his place alone then you are asking to be raped?! So I guess that when you are dating someone you are not allowed to kiss them or you are not allowed to be alone with them, because if you kiss them while you are alone, then it is your fault if you get raped and you should not be upset about it.

Not exactly do i mean that you are asking to be raped when you kiss a guy and go to his place alone, my friend.
However, when you become intimate with someone specially alone in a place it could lead to something passionate when the both of you gets turned on.
So you should better be guarded when that happens.
I am sorry, but i think i am still a bit conservative even if i am already married and older so i think this way.

I am more shocked that there are CCTV cameras inside elevators...and elevators even! The only place without one, apparently, is at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport!

I pity Pamela and I was one of those who were outraged when the Department of Foreign Affairs upheld the immunity of the Panamanian diplomat from any criminal responsibility. After viewing the CCTV shown on TV, I started to have doubts and thought of the Subic rape case. Is this another similar case where a woman goes willingly with a man and cries rape afterwards? In the first place going willingly with a man in his quarters can be misconstrued as being willing to engage in more than kissing. The CCTV showed that they were holding hands and kissing in the elevator. It seems that there is something fishy in this rape case which I hope will eventually be unearthed in order to give justice where it is due whether on Pamela or on the Panamanian diplomat.

I felt the same way as you too for Pamela.
Though like you too, when i saw that CCTV footage, i also had doubts already at Pamela's claim.
I really hope this case will be finally solved as to what really happened.
