I live in Europe and have been to most of the countries in my home continent. Which continent do you live in? Have you been to many of the countries that it has? Which countries in it haven't you been to? Are there any that you do wish to visit in the future? I went to Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia in 2002. Those countries used to be Yugoslavia. I fancy visiting other countries which also used to be in Yugoslavia like Bosnia Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo and Macedonia. I know a lady that comes from Ukraine and she says I would love it there. I haven't yet been to Iceland but I worry it would be too expensive there. I loved visiting Malta but I haven't yet been to Cyprus. I am always in such a rush to visit long haul destinations like wonderful South America.

I live in Asia, in the Philippines to be exact. Asia is a large continent and I have visited only a handful of countries here. Also, I've only visited only one or two cities in these countries. I've been to the following countries: 1. Tokyo and Kamakura, Japan 2. Singapore 3. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 4. Siem Reap, Cambodia 5. Bali, Indonesia I would definitely visit these countries again, probably even the same cities. If it were possible, I would love to visit all the countries in Asia! But just to narrow things, here are my top 5 want to visit countries in Asia: 1. Vietnam - Primarily Ho Chi Minh (used to Saigon) because of the beautiful architecture left by the French and of course, the food! 2. India - To see the Taj Mahal of course and see if the traffic is really crazier than here in Manila. 3. China - Who doesn't want to see the Forbidden City and the Great Wall? 4. Russia - To see the grandeur of Moscow 5. Maldives - For their absolutely stunning beach resorts I hope this encourages you to also visit Asia.

Thanks for your excellent response. I have visited Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Israel, Jordan, Hong Kong and the Maldives. I am so very keen on visiting the Philippines for some island hopping and snorkeling. Vietnam sounds fascinating to me. I wish to see the Great Wall of China too.

Glad to know you've been in Asia. Hope to do get to visit the Philippines soon. It usually isn't on the usual Asian tourist destinations, but it has a lot to offer. I'm envious that you've been to Israel, Jordan, and the Maldives. Ah, there are just too many beautiful places in the world, wish it was just so easy to visit them all :)

I'm from Asian and I like travelling. I had visited majority of the countries in my continent. It's a great fun and pleasure to have a short stay in counties with different cultures and life styles. I hope I could have chances to pay a visit to Burma and Philippines as well as Sri Langka and Nepal in the coming future I had even visited countries in other continents. It's a pity if I haven visited these countries in my own continent. Happy posting

I had visited India last November, but we didn't have time to continue our journey to Sri Lanka as well as Nepal. Both are my favorite sightseeing sites New-Zealand and Sydney will be my next destinations by the end of the year. I would like to plan nicely to visit the countries I haven't visited yet during my future long holidays

It might be possible to travel by sea from India to Sri Lanka. The Philippines might be possible on a cheap flight. Burma would be a very exciting country to visit. You might find a bus from India to Nepal. Good luck.

I live in the United States of America. This is on the continent of North America. Canada is the only other country in North America. I would definitely like to visit there and compare it to the United States. It is close and I would not have that much of a language barrier problem. Traveling these days isn't always easy, but my curiosities need to be satisfied. Maybe one day I will take a Canadian vacation. Happy Travels!

Good luck visiting Canada. Yes, the language is the same there as in the United States which would make the visit easy. I traveled from Mexico to Central America and it was a cheap way to reach it.

I flew over the pyramids on the day I came back from Kenya. It felt so special and magical. I would love to visit Egypt and see it from the ground level. France is the most popular country in the world for tourists. Good luck with your future travels.

Living in the southernmost tip of INDIA, I have tried to visit most parts of the south east and south west parts of the sub continent. Though some of the places in central India and northern sector have been visited, most of the regions are yet to be explored by way of stay and enjoyment. Since the country as a whole depicts a true picture of unity in diversity it is quite worthwhile experiencing the cultural vividness and relishing variegated culinary habits. The cultural heritage of the nation is very rich and abounds in the observance a score of ideas, customs and beliefs.

I have not visited Uruguay and Ecuador, but for me visiting a country does not mean only to be able to put a samp in a passport. For instance, I have been several times to Lima and one time to Tacna in Perú, yet I don´t feel that I know the country. It even happens with my own country. I want to go the the Atacama desert when it is in bloom (not every year). Yet I have never been there. I also want to go to Rapanui and all I have done towards that end is to read a book about the island.

We visited Uruguay for the day by ferry and it was lovely. One day I would like to see more of wonderful little Uruguay. Yes, you would see more of Peru on your next trip there. I hope that you will be able to visit Easter Island my dear friend. Yes, in spring the Atacama Desert would look stunningly beautiful. Chile is a long, thin country with very much to see.

Salto del Laja - A fall in the south of Chile.
I´m sorry that you did not get to go to the south of Chile. With all these talks about the end of the world plus more earthquakes than it´s usual, we are more than worried. Just yesterday, Leticia told me that they had said on TV that there was going to be a mayor earthquake on Sunday. I think those people should be locked up for making people fear the future. I will try to post a picture taken in the South so that you get an idea.

Well, I have been to all of them! But only because Australia is it's own single country continent. But we could almost claim New Zealand as being part of our continent even though it is not attached as Tasmania is. Unattached from the mainland but still part of Australia. Both are places that I have not yet visited, even though they are relatively close to me. But I would love to someday and most likely will at some stage. I have tended to travel far, having been to the USA, UK, France and China but have not seen as much locally.

I think of Australia and New Zealand as being part of Oceania along with the South Pacific islands. In Australia I have seen to New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria, Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia.

Yeah, we are part of the Oceania region, but I think that technically we are our own continent. You have seen more parts of Australia than I have. I have not been to WA or NT yet. But I guess I would know more of the ins and outs and more intimate details of the East Coast though.

I live in Europe and I have had the chance to visit many of the other European countries, but there are still some countries where I haven't been yet for instanse Portugal, Ireland, Iceland, Albania and the countries in the former Yugoslavia. I would love to visit Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and Macedonia and I want to buy another interrail pass and visit those countries one day. I am thinking about visiting Ukraine on the same trip. Ukraine isn't included in the interrail pass, so I am going to travel as far as I can get on the interail pass (=the eastern part of Poland) and buy a separate ticket for Ukraine there.

I was thinking of getting a cheap flight to Poland and then going by train to Ukraine. Yes, it is a shame that the Inter Rail Pass does not include Ukraine. I remember that you were ill on the trip you did around some of Europe so I wish you excellent health for your next trip.

Oh, Asia is a huge continent and there are a lot of countries here. The airfare may be cheaper to go from one country to another within the same continent, but it still involves expense. I have only been to Malaysia, and I plan to visit more Asian countries within the year. Probably, Thailand, Singapore and Hongkong.
