Hypertension often comes without symptoms. Hypertension sufferers usually feel the symptoms after it has been with them for 5 to 10 years. How shocked they will be when finding out about it, it has already come with its complication.
The best way to avoid it is to have your blood pressure regularly checked. Uncontrolled hypertension will result in your artery getting hardened. Smoking women should be more careful with it as they are easily prone to be attacked with stroke because of hypertension.
Avoid such foods as salt, fat, sugar, alcohol, caffeine, and many more as these foods may contribute to hypertension. Prevention may be done by avoiding those foods or start a physical exercise. And last but not least is throw away your cigarette.
What's your take my dear mylotters?

I think physical inactivity increases the risk for hypertension.Every adult needs mandatory daily exercise for health and fitness.

Yes, i agree. Hypertension can happen to anybody and more than often there are signs before it's too late. Other than smoking, our diet plays an important play due to the kind of food we eat, they do affect our blood pressure. If we are eating too much fatty food, and we can't digest them in time, they would be stored in our body as fats. In worse case, overtime, those fats would clog our arteries, resulting in blockage. When that happens, we might even face bursting of blood vessels and slowly, leading to stroke.

Many people are not aware of hypertension. It's been with them for years. Only after they have had stroke attack do they know that it is their hypertension that has caused them to be attacked by stroke.

And don't forget my friend, that when your family has it, you can also have it, because it runs in the blood.
So, at an early age, start avoiding foods and stress and lifestyles that can trigger it.

That is heredity hypertension. You can lower the pressure by regular exercise. Try it. You probably can't get rid of it completely but regular exercise will lower the risk of hypertension. Hope this helps.

Only way to cope up with stress is to release it, make your mind free. Like when you're busy, make time to free your mind, like 5 minutes think of something else that makes you happy.

Yanza, you are right that hypertension can happen to anybody and more than often there are some signs before it's too late. Our diet plays an important role since the kind of food we eat, can affect our blood circulation and blood pressure. That's why, we should not be eating too much fatty food. Because fatty food can cause blood arteries and vessels to clog and leading to stroke. Since hypertension is running in my family, i prefer to have a balanced diet to prevent from getting hypertension in such an early age. Thanks for providing these useful hypertension tips here.

Yes, that's right. Bosses are always causing stress. Do you think husbands also cause stress? Really?
