Deccan Chargers did their first favor to CSK, by beating Rajasthan Royals today. RR batting first could only post 126 on the board which DC managed to chase thanks to a good opening partnership between Dhavan and Reddy. This win means that RR are out of the reckoning for the playoffs.
Now CSK would be hoping that DC can also beat RCB to help them qualify for the playoffs!!
Cheers!
Ram

Looks as if they were keeping their best for this game. What could have been an easy win fo RR turned out to be a bad dream for them. Now this is all about cricket and its uncertainties. RR needed to reach at least 150 to remain in contention which they failed too badly. That is cricket for you.

Yep,
Sad for RR.
But i don't think DC can beat RCB, I mean it will hard for DC to beat them when RCB have gayle(on his best performance),Dilshan,ab de villiers,Kohli.
At the end of day anything can happen.
game of cricket is always with full of surprise.

Rajasthan out of the Playoff now as they need to win the remaining 2 to be eligible for Playoff but they loast against the Deccan chargers, first they post poor batting shows as they only able to post 126 on the board which was easily chased by Deccan. After Royals chose to bat, Chargers were their usual woeful self in the Powerplay overs, putting down three catches to reprieve each of Royals' top three. Royals' highest run-scorer this season, Ajinkya Rahane, was dropped in the first over by wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel, but Chargers weren't made to pay as Dale Steyn had Rahane edging to slip in the next over. With many drops catches this was not the suprise from the deccan though they are doing it well and they are capable of doing the way. Only 65 runs came in the final ten overs. Aso they loast many. Mean while in cahse charge too lost wickwrts but Akshat Reddy top scored and won for them.
Now Rajathan is out of the route and they will not goinmg to playoff that confirmed. Deccan finally did a good one with 3 wins now.

Now with Rajasthan Royals loosing the match with Deccan Chargers, they have lost the hopes for the playoffs.
I think Royal Challengers Bangalore will make it to the playoffs but anything can happen, if Kings XI Punjab wins today they also have a chance if Royal Challengers Bangalore loose, let's see after today's and tomorrow's match who makes it to the playoffs ....

Hi ram,
I was wondering to see the way the Rajasthan Royals players, specially bats,en were batting today. It seemed they were just maintaining formality. There was no aggression in the team. Mere 126 is nothing. Still they were trying to check them but the first partnership sealed their way.
You said rightly that losing the game RR has backed CSK.

I am really more of a triple D fan ( Delhi Dare Devils ) although I haven't been following IPL for a while now , or for that matter haven't been watching cricket for almost the same amount of time . You know What I find weird is that none of the other channels show IPL besides Max . I know its their official TV partner but I haven't even seen a repeat on any other TV channel .
Anyways I am getting off topic thanks for the update !
