My life has taken such a turn to the left in the past year! I use to say " I don't have a passion. There isn't anything that I am passionate about." That use to make me really sad. Everyone should love something! Everyone should have a Passion a purpose for being.
When I started my Herbalife business I thought I would just be seling some products and making some money. Boy was I wrong. Because of Herbalife I found my passion!! I now know my purpose, my new found passion is to help people realize how amazing they are! I know inspire and encourage my family, my clients, and friends to be better. To find their own passion. I speak to them from my heart and my truth. I don't judge or tell them what to do. I just speak from a place of love about my path and hope they find something to help them on their journey!
With finding my passion, my purpose, I have taken my business to the next level!
So what's your passion? Why do you think you were put on this planet? Please share. This is how we grow and become better people.

I do have a passion, or two, but I don't equate that with my 'reason for being on this planet'. My first passion would have to be my scrapbooking, I love scrapbooking supplies and all the cardstock and embellishments they have now. So much so that I am a Memory-works Consultant, now I sell scrapbook supplies as well as doing it. I also do scrapbooks for others that don't have the time themselves, but love displaying their photos and memories this way. My second passion, which goes along with the other is travel. I normally take 2 to 3 road trips a year, traveling by myself gives me the time to stop when and where I want and take pictures all along the way.

Your reason for being is to make other's happy by presenting them with their collections in a scrapbook. I think scrapbooking is so awesome! giving to others is your reason for being here. How you give to others is your passion! good for you

Palonghorn, I have to organize some of my kids photos and memorabilia and just have not taken the time to do it. It's great that you love to do it and also help your friend. I am always telling people to go with their strengths and talents and you have done this. Are you also getting paid for scrapbooking? How awesome would that be?

My passion is wildlife.I want to know more about wild animals and experience the dark thrill and mystery of the jungle.I have a desire to spend my life in a village that is situated near a dense jungle and where I can hear the call of a tiger emanating from the jungle at night. The mysterious stillness of jungle attracts me.But as now I am burdened with the responsibilities of my family,I can't go to my dreamland and settle there. So I compensate my suppressed and unfulfilled desire by reading books on wildlife.

To be honest Sakina, I am still looking. Though lately, I have been checking out a herbalist online that has sparked my interest. My mom told me that my maternal grandmother was a midwife but she had extensive knowledge on plants and what they could do that my father went down there to learn from her and take the knowledge and work with it. That was his plan. he got diverted, but now I feel that something in that order is in my plan. I also have an undergrad degree in Psychology which I have never used BUT, I want to go for my graduate degree soon and go into practice to help others, then one day a week, just go into the community and have a free day with them. It is so much hardship and problematic situations in the world today. Before I do the masters, I want to take a life coach course as well to get on the right track and build that part of my life from there. then open up a reading room/community center in my community because it's sorely needed. I got that yesterday when I was out walking to church.

I have a passion for LIFE! I am one that has learned a lot; and life has taught me much. If you live, you learn. There really is no better teacher. I am now trying to understand why I keep making the same mistakes sometimes, then I think it is because that's life. No matter how many times I keep making a mistake, I learn from it. I am always having to deal with things. Some good and some bad. I take the good with the bad; and get the complete picture. Some things work for me and some don't; but in life you have to take the initiative to find out those things. I know this is a very general explanation; but it covers just about everything life has offered and continues to offer. I am glad your life is working for you. Keep the passion alive.

Life is an excellent teacher and one thing is for certain, if you do not get a lesson the first time, it usually presents itself again and again until we do. We get in life who we believe and accept ourselves to be. So shine your light and soar my friend!

I have been leaning less on the actual word of passion because it is one of those words that took a funny turn when many of the dictionaries changed around the 1940's before that it meant more like a longing, suffering...like "Passion" of the Christ. I know that you are asking about passion, purpose, calling, etc.....
I also try to stay away from "purpose" because it can be dis-empowering for people who don't know or can't figure out what that is....
Any hoo, I know that my calling has something to do with education, helping people to realize their potential and pushing the boundaries of this reality (meaning things are not always what they seem and helping people to know that there is a power and force that created them and it is also in them)....Life has a way of getting in the way and many "well-meaning" people tend to help discourage us.
So, I see myself as an uplifter and a reminder of the many infinite possibilities there are in this world.

It's about perception. Words are powerful and mean different things to different people. We are all here to help each other in our own way. Rather it's to invite the best washing machine or or laptop. As long as what you do brings value to the person who receives it. I like you like to inspire and empower others to be Great! To be better. I love it. It brings me personal joy!

I think we are like-minded and feel like I have a new friend in myLot! Life for me is about bringing forth light. I know that you are doing that with your business and that is just awesome! I like to throw info out there for those who can receive it. I am a bit of a wordsmith at times so you just received some of that sharing. I think we are all full of interesting points of views and if we come together and make connections, how great is that! How does it get any better than that???
