we all love this site. i for one do. it's a great compsensated social networking site. you get the best of both worlds. i wonder, though. if mylot were to stop paying, would you still come back to it. don't get me wrong, the pay has become only one of the reasons why i still mylot. i love the people and conversations here. let's face it, though, the pay is a factor. i am already on facebook which doesn't pay. i don't know. on the other hand, i probably would still come back. it would be hard though, because at one time they did pay. so, why do you mylot? would you still come back if mylot didn't stop paying?

Here I am for the last 3 years and more and habituated with their payment structure. If they stop paying, I will not stick on here any more as we feel something is missing and if the payment is stopped, I think atleast 75% people would quit from here because many are myLoting mainly for earning and the rest are just for fun and nothing more.

I have a theory about what would actually be missing. Let's face it-no one can actually make a real profit here that will support your living expenses so MyLot is for fun and profit but definitely more fun.The thing that would actually be missing, according to my observations, would be order. The thing that makes MyLot special is the community and how everyone gives their best to discuss and help others, but this is because quality is rewarded here. My point is that if MyLot stops paying people will have no reason to be polite, helpful or give their best. The whole feeling of this site would be lost...

i agree shadow. i don't think that the quality of post would be the same. i also think that different elements would come to mylot.

i would still be here if it didn't pay... i'm not on tooooo often, but i love it here! i see some really great discussions that i don't see other places. and in fact, i have a health condition that i didn't realize i had until someone pointed it out on this website a few years ago... so definitely, the pay is nice, but not that much of a factor to me. and incidentally, i'm on facebook too! :)

I still want to be here, because I am a depress person, mylot makes me happy, I join a lot of discussions a day, and I like it.

I think I will still stick with myLot but not as often as I do now. I only Facebook and Multiply because I am an online seller there. But if I do not have any transactions there, I do not stay long online there. I think it will be the same with myLot. I am a struggling entrepreneur and I think spending so much time online will only lessen my chance of building my business higher. Unless of course if I do research or sell. =)

I really just am on myLot right now, because it has been such a huge part of my day, because it has been something that I have been doing for over two years. It is just something that is easy to get tied up into rather easily. The discussions are rather fascinating when you think about it. And the pay doesn't most certainly hurt to give me a little extra nudge beyond what myLot has to offer.
As for if myLot should stop paying, well I said this once and I'll say it again. MyLot is a great place, but I think that I'm not sure if I could justify being on it as often if it I didn't pay. Of course, if myLot stopped paying, I think that the amount of topics would flat line to begin with. There won't be as many topics. Take away one reason people stay and you lose a lot of the motivation when there are fewer topics and the topics might not be quality.

I would visit myLot even if they didn't pay but not as often. I enjoy reading about other cultures, interests, hobbies and just about life in general. I am also a member of Facebook but really don't like it. I pretty much know what our kids are doing and don't need to follow them on Facebook to find out what their daily issues are or where they are going. I also would prefer to be emailed instead of posting things on Facebook that I may not want others to read. MyLot is one of my favorite sites.

My sister is keen on money making and she was the one that got me into excellent My Lot. For me the earnings are simply a bonus. The discussions interest me and I like my friends on My Lot. If My Lot stopped paying I would still be on it. I find going to to My Lot very enjoyable and interesting. I appreciate that all nationalities can join My Lot because it makes for an international community. My Lot is open 24 hours a day and fits in with every time zone in the world. Earlier this year I visited a dear friend of mine off My Lot that lives in Chile. If it wasn't for My Lot I wouldn't have made excellent friends like her.

I mylot because I see it as getting pennies for my thoughts. I am very opinionated and; I don't mind the compensation. I would find it a waste of time at this point to do it for free because the money is quite helpful right now. I have a small bank to fund certain activities. It is a pleasure to be a part of the mylot community. I express myself, practice writing, and earn a little. Not so bad huh?

I love being on here, meeting new people and aksing for advice. A lot of times it is easier for me to talk to people who do not know my family personally and therefore it is easier to know that people on here are not taking sides. I try to make payout, but if I do not make payout I am okay with that also. I have made some great friends and have gotten help with personal problems.

AT first,I joined here to earn extra money but as days passed I stay here not just to earn a bit but express my opinions, thought and feelings.I can consider people here as new found friends. This is site that allow us to express our feelings , share our thoughts and learned things as well. Great site to stay in even if it won't pay anymore.

My son got me started mylotting just this week. I am not a twitter or facebook person. I am giving it a trial run for one week to see if it is worth my time. So far I am seeing that I am not getting my account updated every day, nor am I receiving payment consistantly. I am not sure if I will stay mylotting for much longer. I defininately wouldn't be here if there was no compensation at all.

I'm not sure. Although my earnings here are trivial to say the least. They do give just a very tiny added incentive. I do like interacting with people from all over the world, but the rules are sometimes so unjustly applied that it does get tiresome sometimes.

I guess that if one day the rules change and myLot doesn't pay, then the organisation of the site would have to change as well. I mean that it would be a forum, so when people entered the site, they would be able to find information by subject or something like that. Or if it would become like facebook, they should add more features for sharing and more content for the users.
Right now, even though we all enjoy being here, the organisation of this site, the guidelines and whole structure of it, is based on the earnings and we all do the stuff that will give us a reward. Not only the discussions, but also the tasks for example, or the searching. Others are here only because they have fun, it depends on the individual.
We all get to earn positive experiences here, meet new people from all over the world, get ideas on how to move forward in life and overcome our difficulties. But the truth is that payment gives a motive to everyone, it is like setting a goal and enjoying your time while you are trying to reach it.
