When we move we will only have tv hooked up uv the family room. So the TVs in the bedrooms will just be hooked up to our DVD players. I'm wondering if I can get Direct TV online without satellite. I want to see my favorite reality shows in my room at night. My family doesn't watch the same shows I do. I like Big Brother which will be on this summer. I like shows like American Idol and I like all the court programs.
I like True TV and the Soap channel and the Science channel and stuff. They only have the basic channels here so some of my favorite channels isn't on my tv. I wish I could get my favorite shows online. Lime I can't get American Idol online.
Any ideas?

I used to watch my favorite TV shows online before by browsing www.justin.tv .. It's free but it's been a long time already that I haven't used it again so I don't know if it's still working ;))

I've tried that and I don't care for it. I just get a small screen and nothing really loads for me. Thanks.

I cannot really help you on this issue, except to suggest that you download Readon Movie TV Player, an give it a try.
We cannot get all TV channels online, but I think it is better than nothing. There are many countries and channels to choose from.
I have been using this software for the past few years with some satisfaction..
The software can be downloaded from www.freewarefiles.com
Alternatively you can try hulu.com

Hulu.com has a lot of shows free. But if you pay like less than ten dollars a month I think it is (called Hulu Plus), you can get access to even more of their shows. That would be the closest I can think of to getting what satellite would give you. My sister and brother-in-law did that. They canceled their cable and just watch what they get off of Hulu Plus.

That's a great idea. If it is comparable to cable that would be wirth it. I could cancel my Netflix.
