what's that leaderboard here?

as i went through the interest panel here i happened to stumble upon such leaderboard page and i wonder whats that and can we earn more if we are included in the leaderboard?i have the same query with my referral here and i hope someone here can explain that.will you please?

I think the leader board is for the people who have really excelled in one particular topic and that they really discussed about those topics very well . In short , I means that those in the leader board use that topic in mylot very well and many people have "+" their responses because it was like too good . Also such people are usually experts in topics where they occupy the leader board . To get yourself into the leader board , you need to concentrate on answering to discussion on a particular topic and that too try to give very good answers and you atuomatically will enter the leader board .
