hello my friend,in my opinion,if this is the first time that the boss don't increase your salary, you can wait until next 3 months, because maybe your boss is too busy to forget it.That you ask your rising wages too hasty seems you don't trust him/her or may makes your boss think you are too concern on money. But if this is the second or third time your boss don't increase your salary as the agreement between you ,you can ask him/her directly.I believe he/she will give you a satisfactory answer.

hi, there! in my part it's been awhile since the last time he increased my salary. and for my other colleague, she had resigned last saturday because she's given birth this month, but before she resigned she didn't get any salary increase since the last time she had her salary increased. but i'm just glad for her that our boss gave her a representation that will help her when she gave birth.

Yes, of course yes. When think you should be paid more for your efforts, you should ask for the salary increase. If your boss is wise man, he/she should consider it seriously.

I agree. my friend asks for increasing his salary regularly..and the result is his salary is so high now because he works very good and his boss always agree with his requirement.

Hello there! i guess you should be aware of your salaries if it will increase or not. Employees should know their rights as well. cause we all are working casue we need the money, right? so then, ask your employer if you have the right to have salary increase or what...

It depends on the contract between you and your boss. In my case i work for a government office so that my salary is increased for every 3 years. Ask or don't ask, it still follows that rule.

That should be written down in your contract or you had that chat at the moment you started working over there (one has to prove himself first) or you can do it if you have a chat about the way you are function at your job (over here it's normal to have such a chat 1 or 2 times a year). I don't think you will find any boss here that will increase salary every three months, since if he would do so he would be bankrupt in no time. Mostly you can get it is once a year but even that is not the case over here. So you mostly have to ask for it if you think you do a job that dexerves a better payment, your job is way more included as it was at the start (more responsibility), you are higher educated in the meanwhile and sometimes you get payed more in a few time (years) because you are older and have more experiences.

he just said it verbally. and he increases us every three months and it depends on the performance. but one of my co-worker was waiting for her salary to increase because she was told that two weeks after she will be increased and she's already working nine months but there was no salary increase happened.

I think if you have any such agreement that mentions that there will be hike in salary every 3 months then i think you should approach your boss once to confirm that as per your performance level is it possible to have a salary increase or not. but I believe most of the time if your performance is getting approved and recognized consistently for a period of time then the company itself make arrangement to increase your salary. In my office only one of my colleague got a salary hike since he was giving consistently good performance since last six months. so if you think that you have outperform your colleague and have been giving good performance since few months and also your seniors are well aware of that then i think you can at least ask your senior about it.I think it will be no harm to you and moreover you can get their feedback about you from their side.

Hi nyang! The salary agreement should start at the signing of the contract. You can always speak to your boss about your salary if you feel there is a need for amendment. As for the increase request, I think every good employee deserve it. Be ready with your answer when your boss ask you why you think you should be given an increase. Cite for example your contributions to the company and other things that you think could be helpful! Good luck to you!

yes the amount of salary which we are get paid in mainly depends on the agreement which we would put in between the employee and boss. actually employee not dare to ask to increase because of some limits and fear . but based on the outcome of the firm or industry we should we can improve our income it mainly based on the kind of nature of the boss so we should be beware of the nature of the firm so we can increase our growth . i think 3 months increase of the salary is the one of the best thing that would be happen in every one life
