Hi Salma, A spun article is writing existing articles, or parts of articles, and replacing elements to provide a slightly different perspective on the topic. Basically if you are substituting words from another article and then posting as yours, you are just spinning the article.

Hello, When you do research, try to get several sources and get key points from each source, then consolidate those keypoints and then the hard part is to put them into your own words or writing style.

The seeker seem want to get a new fresh article, while the article you submit read as a rewritten article by the software that they use.

Yes, most of them use that kind of software. Beside a grammar error check software, there is also a software to check rewritten articles. I'm not sure how it work, maybe it count the similar words that you use.

A 'spun' article is an article which has been rewritten largely by simply changing words using a selection of alternative synonyms. There are many programs which do this (most of them give pretty unreadable results) and some people use them so that they can produce tens or hundreds of versions of the same article which will pass 'Copyscape'. If your article writing consists of copying paragraphs from several different sources and maybe rewording them slightly, you are almost certain to be accused of 'spinning' or not being original. The only way of being certain that your article really is 'original' is to run it through a plagiarism checker yourself before you submit it. You would be strongly advised to use the same one which the site uses but, unfortunately, these are usually only available on subscription. You can find free ones on the Internet by searching for 'plagiarism checker' but the free ones are never as good as Copyscape.

thanks for the details, but ya i always do plagiarism check and i've got no issues form copyscape till date except for minor hitches which were basically because the clients gave me terrible keywords....but even then he thought it was spun article, it was very rude to leave such a bad feedback...
