Well he is the next best thing from Brazil for sure. He is skillful for sure, the most important thing though for him is his work rate and his commitment to become a top footballer since unfortunately many Brazilian players didn't have what they say a "good footballers life" as soon as they reached the top level. Socrates, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Adriano are some examples.

Socrates had not a 'good footballers life"? His work rate and commitment were questionable? No. I don't think so. Socrates was one of the greatest footballers and he was widely respected and admired for his skills as well as his etiquette.

Socrates was one of the greatest players in the world and admired all over Brazil. Ronaldo was three times the best player in the world, the player who scored more goals on World Cups, no mentioning all of his medical procedures he went trought. Ronaldinho was named the best player in the World once.
Adriano was named "Imperor of Italy" while playing for Internazionale.
They are examples of where is the highest place a man could get on a sport.
Neymar is a great player, I`m watching every games that he plays and there`s no doubt that in a few years he will become the best in the world too, playing in Brazil or not. Today he have a hard game that can get Santos to go to the FIFA World Teams Cup again, let`s see how it go.

I am very impressed with Neymar. He is a bit like Christian Ronaldo in his playing style but a more team man. His ball skill and trickery is very fascinating and once he comes to play in Europe, I am sure he will be as big as anyone. I hope he can play for Manchester United one day.

I think Neymar has been ear-marked as the next big thing for the past three years now. But he has steadfastedly continued to play in Brazil and has not moved to any of the bigger clubs in Europe. The little that I saw of him playing for Brazil was not as impressive as the hype had it, but of course, World Cup is the biggest of all stages and young players do struggle on the first time of asking.
Cheers!

of course..its no doubt that he is talented player
now the problem for santos and neymar,he must choose the right club after he spend his time in santos..
when he is wrong choosing right club, his talented is useless..
too many example when the player can`t develop after predicted to be a next star..
i remember the name "adriano"...
