My browser is Google Chrome and for 3 or 4 months i've encountered no problems with it. However, for over a month now when signing in to Chrome, playing games, or visiting certain websites i receive the above messages. When this happens i can't do anything but shut down my computer since it freezes up and it's impossible to move the pointer. Searching for solutions to this problem has gotten me nowhere and as much as i do like Chrome i'm seriously thinking of changing to either Firefox or IE(ugh) So my fellow Mylotter's i was wondering if anyone here may be able to help me with this very troublesome problem and if you have also encountered these issues what you did to fix it. I would so appreciate it.

Try un-installing it, then re-installing. Always back up your stuff first, of course.

That's what I was about to advice him. Yes. I think uninstalling and reinstalling it would fix the problem, ray!

Usually error messages such as this simply mean you need to update your software; however, it can also mean more serious issues such as a virus slowing down your computer to the point where it can no longer run the application.

Since i do have the latest version of Adobe flash, perhaps it would be a good idea to uninstall the Shockwave plug in, since this is the one i receive the most error messages on.(shockwave plug in has crashed) or, is unresponsive. Thank you for the advice.

@ jujunme You should uninstall shockwave plug in since is a end-of-life software which mean this software no longer will be update. Make sure that you install the latest version of Adobe Flash: get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

I don't know what you're running Chrome on, but if you're running it on a brick or potato battery-powered calculator, I think that you should buy a new computer. You could also try defragmenting your disk. It will make your computer run a bit faster.

I don;t know what you mean by a "brick" or "potato battery-powered calculator"but, i'm sure i'm not running Chrome on either of these. As far as buying a new computer, that is out of the question since Chrome is the only browser where i experience these types of problems and from what i've read, many people are complaining of the same problems they are having with Chrome, so to go as far as buying a new computer due to this is an expense i don't need. About the defrag, i did this the other day and although my computer is running a bit faster, it did not change the problems i'm having.

Have you done the following yet? • Update all of your necessary plug-in. For a faster and easy way, visit this site: https://browsercheck.qualys.com/ • Try disable/uninstall any add-on/toolbar. • Clear your browsing history. I recommend Ccleaner to do the basic cleanup. Try using Firefox or (should I even say it) Internet Explorer. If things continue to freeze and your mouse pointer stop moving it might be a hardware issue or computer malware. Do a through scan with good antivirus software (I suggest malwarebytes) and see what comes up. If nothing, maybe the website is too much for your computer, in which case it is a hardware issue.
