I need to write an essay for school on how the character Friar Laurence is responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. We need two body paragraphs so that means we need two reasons. I chose the reasons "Due to his complex planning and selfish actions". I finished the first paragraph on complex planning but I am struggling with the selfish actions paragraph. My first example is how the Friar suggests to Juliet to join a sisterhood of Nuns and then when she declines he leaves her to commit suicide. I can't think of another example from the play and that is where I need your help. Where is Friar Laurence selfish in the play Romeo and Juliet.
