My teeth are really not as white as they should be. I'm willing to try some natural homemade tips if it won't damage teeth, maybe start off slowly. I've always wondered how some people get their teeth soooo darn white. Does anyone else have anymore tips besides just brushing with regular toothpaste and flossing? Do any of you get your teeth whitened professionally at the dentist? I would be impressed by even just a shade whiter than I have now.

I use Remington mouthwash and it helps. It made my teeth a shade lighter. You can also try brushing your teeth with baking soda. Not only is it a great way to get rid of bacteria but it's supposed to help whiten teeth but you have to be really patient with it. I had faster results with just using the Remington mouthwash.

Oooh, thanks, I like the idea of using just a mouthwash for it to be a lighter shade. I guess both won't hurt either. I think it might take a long time for the baking soda to work as I have heard just to use it every two weeks, otherwise it can be hard on the enamel.

What I do is take the lid of the mouth wash and put half hydrogine peroxide and half the mouth wash in the lid. Then put a little in your mouth and slosh it around. Leave it in your mouth for as long as you can. Use the entire amount that is in the lid each time. Do it two or even three times a day. Don't swallow it!

No, I use ACT or Listerine. Special Mouthwashs now help keep teeth enamel on, whiten teeth, all kinds of stuff. Hydrogen Peroxide tastes too nasty by itself. Has to have something with it.

Do you use Remington mouthwash too? I rarely use mouthwash as i thought it was only for bad breathe, and that I have never had or at least no one has ever told me I have either. But I will try it, I have put hydrogen peroxide in my mouth too for this reason before, but I think it was too strong and not diluted enough as it hurts my gums for awhile.

I have used Crest White Strips in the past and they work really, really well. Before using them though, I asked my dentist if they were safe and he said yes. However, he said that whitening toothpastes are not safe to use on your teeth as they contain teeny, tiny bits of glass that can damage the enamel on your teeth.

Cut down on tea and coffee. Well, and smoking, if you smoke. Brush three times a day with GOOD tooth paste and mouth wash. I use crest.
