Destiny takes us we know not where,
But we carry our memories there.
School times, class mates loads of fun,
Exams done, accolades won,
Frolicking in the pouring rain
Wish those days were here again.
I truly miss those beautiful years and I am glad that I organise class mates get togethers often, reviving those memories. How often do you meet or how do you revive your school days memories?

I really was not that happy in school and I do not go back for reunions. I would like to see friends that I knew from college, but they all have gone different ways. I have some more recent friends that I see several times a year.

I am at a church college related to the protestant denomination I attend. I understand how there can be favoritism and cliques. There probably was here as well, but it was away from my home town and a much smaller school and it was a chance to reinvent myself so to speak. I also came from a family of very negative people and gossipy, and I met a lot of positive people in college. I loved the town so much, I moved here. I met a variety of people and it certainly broadened my outlook.

I loved my school days as the nuns did pamper me a bit. I was the outspoken type who belled the cat whenever there was a demand for such actions. Acting was my forte and that was the best part of my school days. But while at college I never got an opportunity to act as they always picked those who came from their own school.

Opposite was the case with me. I do not have good memories of my life in college. Girls from various schools came to this college the only catholic college then and those that were from the school attached to this college were the favourites of the nuns!

The idea struck me several years ago and I was pleasantly surprised that I could collect around 14 of them. My husband was the only male in the house and the cacophony that we created could drown even the noise of an atom bomb!No one was listening and every one was talking. It was indeed a day to remember. Then on we keep having these get togethers.

Oh no! That's too bad. Is that all you remember about your school days. I do not agree with you. There must be something that you would want to cling on to besides the memories of those ghastly exams and tests! Do share.

I have many good memories of youth and school days but I can no longer find my friends even through Facebook. Most of us are married and are now using different surnames so it makes the search quite difficult. I loved my youth where there were no problems except passing the exams and completing the assignments. I sure remember those mountain hikes where we would spend our afternoons after classes are over. I miss the carefree days, the camaraderie and the laughter. it would be good to have a reunion but unfortunately I have never heard of one being organized.

I was lucky in that I managed to get the addresses of all my classmates with help from a few of my other classmates. My class mates too are married. We did meet few at a time but managed to see them all!

Beautiful poem. I remember the beautiful memories of my life, seem like the glorious times of mine. Unfortunately, I rarely meet my school day friends. And I try to fill today with a good things, so today comes to be the beautiful moments just like the beautiful memories of our life.

I worked hard to find my class mater after several years that is. I collected addresses of all 33 of them and was sad to realise that we had lost 5 already. But these get togethers have a different flavour. No one flaunts their achievements but just talks about their experience at the time we were schooling together. Ofcourse we do update on what we are doing. It is great to meet.
