I feel like the richest girl on earth

This morning I spent time feeding and giving out free school supplies to the unfortunate children in our city. My father makes it a point to give help to the needy every month and I make it a point to join him and my mom in doing just that. I give out some of my old but functional toys because I know these kids would love it, and they did. They enjoyed the food that my mother cooked, and they thank my dad for the school supplies he gave them. We are not a rich family. My parents are both employees but they have managed to raise us their children with hard work and perseverance. There are also times when we need to save up for something because money is sometimes hard to earn. But whenever we have some extra, we extend help to the needy. Although we are not rich, whenever the unfortunate kids would give thanks to our family, I feel as if I am the richest girl in the world for having a wonderful parents who knows how to extend a helping hand to other people.
