There's no account number in paypal. There's only your email address. That's your account number should you decide to use that to receive payments from any sites. When i first use paypal, i was like you, trying to find where's the account number. It's only after a few sites, i realize there's no account number after all, it's just an email address. U can try using your paypal email as account number, it should be accepted. If that site refuses, you have to be careful, it might be a scam.

Paypal does not provide you with account number, the email address registered with it for opening of the account at Paypal is all you have for working with Paypal. You may treat your the email address as the account number for Paypal.

PayPal is not a bank and only Premier and Business accounts have an account number -- you see it on the top of the page when you log in into a business account --. "Normal" free accounts have only a PayPal ID : the email address used to register.
