are the ipl matches fixed?

with investors all around the ipl stadium ,dont you think its a perfect get away for match fixing?with some players having accepted giving valuable information about other players ,i personally think players would definitely sell their destiny on the field for some extra bucks.

welcome to mylot. the way matches have been going -- deccan charges which has lost so many matches won its last match. we do not have proof to say that matches are fixed and only time has to prove.

I think it is a fashion to report anything that cannot be explained as match fixing. This is a stupid trend that has come on these days and of course with the few cases where revelations came out to be true, this was bound to happen. But then I have completely different take on this. While we can watch and enjoy scripted movies and soap operas why not enjoy a sports spectacle which is scripted especially if it ups your adrenaline. The popularity of WWE is an proof that scripted sports is also very popular. So until I see concrete proof like in the case of Hansie Cronje and Mohd. Ameer, Salman Butt case, I would not like to really think too much into this.

I think players who fix the games should not be allowed to play in cricket. I think some of the players are still fixing the matches. I do not think all the matches are fixed. I think it is some matches are fixed. I think it is not good to fix the matches and the fixing of matches will decrease the interest of the match.

Dont generalize bro.. !these are respectable players, well some may not b so passionate abt cricket as much as the others but i dont think IPL as a whole is fixed possibly some elements in IPL are being fixed.. But there is no solid proof to blame any body atleast for now..!
