Robin Gibb of the well loved Bee Gees departs. The doctors were able to give Robin a little extra time but, and I guess we all knew it, his illness finally took him from us. He leaves us at the age of 61 and all who loved the Bee Gees will morn his passing and be thankful that his life gave so many pleasure. Rest in Peace Robin.

What a sad news. I wasn't born when the Bee Gees hits the music scene, but I am aware of their music. I even bought their "one night only" (not so sure about the title) album. I love their songs.
Rest in Peace Robin.

I love almost all of the songs there. But what I love there is their duet with Celine Dion, Immortality. I also like "I started a joke" as well as "our love (don't throw it all away)" which has been dedicated to their brother andy I think. I also watched the concert when aired in television.

I wasn't aware of this sad news until I saw your topic. I guess there are so many other things going on that this was hidden by them.
I have found a link just in case others were unaware like me:

He put up a great fight to try and combat his ailing health and will now no longer have to suffer. He leaves us so many songs which, for me, all have great memories attached to them too.
My thoughts are with his family.

I missed it there. That user is not on my friend list therefore I did not get a notifier of that topic.
