I am a music lover. I want to listen to the music all the time; that's why I preferred chat support team over voice services due to the opportunity to listen more music that I like. When I'm away from the computer, I listen music through my phone's mp3 player. I was using headsets before but now I'm using earphones.
If I were to be asked; I love headsets. But since I have a lot of stuff in my bag and earphones are cheaper, I prefer those earphones with rubber sheets in it for extra comfort and longer usage.
When listening to the music, do you prefer earphones or headsets? Can you justify it here in this topic why do you prefer the other way and why? Happy mylotting about it.

I prefer neither. I don't have like having earphones in my ears, its just uncomfortable. I prefer listening to music through the speakers. Earbuds are especially annoying for me. Large headphones aren't so bad, but I still prefer speakers over headphones.

Well I use a headset when I on my pc since it has better sound quality than earphones but I use earphones outside whenever I listen music to my phone or something cause they are easier to use than big headphones outside especially if you are moving or if you are on a bicycle :)

Here in our country it is also strict. I once rode my scooter on the way home and the policeman did scolded me for riding/ driving with something that is plugged in my ears. LOL. I even joked; "If I can't hear when driving I wouldn't have heard you calling me to stop". He did let me go afterwards after bailing out with a few dollars :)
LOLS, safety wise; yes, it should be kept away when driving but I'm also seeing some bicycle drivers and motorcycle drivers who are doing the same. I guess it is pretty much depends on the drive how he can still the others honking at you to pull off or pull aside when they overtake.
Happy mylotting and take care on the road.

yeap If it depends on how you drive, if you drive fast then you should have earphones since it can drastically reduce your reflexes. Usually though when I have earphones on my bicycle I go pretty slow so I can really have my eyes on the road :) Happy mylotting and take care on the road too :)

When listening to music I prefer earphones over headsets. It's just more practical. I also find headsets rather bulky. But when it comes to gaming, I prefer headsets.

hi there resy21curapika,
for me, i loved both of it. earphones and headsets are one of the gadgets that i have. however, due to some reason, my ears got easily irritated whenever i always used those. so i have bought a burger speaker with me so i can carry it while listening to my favorite songs and music.

If I could purchase those wireless headphones and such... that will be a better sound tripping for me throughtout the day ^___^")
I find them great both also. But right now my earphones broke on me; the other right plug went off and I'm now listening to the left ones; I find it irritating because there are songs that has right and left specifications and sometimes "right" amps of the songs appears to be higher than lefts. LOL.
Hope to know more about how do you enjoy your songs more. Happy mylotting ^____^-)

I prefer headphones than earphones because I don't want the sounds to be a lot closer to my ear drums. It is a lot comfortable for me than having it plugged on my ears. Plus, headsets are more durable than earphones.

If you were to ask me, I really want headsets. I want my music to be loud. That routine separates me from the pressure of the real world to my own realm of happiness..
For the time being, I like earphones because 1) it doesn't occupies too much space to my bag, 2) it has its own casing for safekeeping as I keep them; I pretty much know how frustrating one ear of these pair doesn't works eventually due to its loose cords and 3) now has these rubber buds to block noise completely and keeps the phones from not falling off or hurting my ears after seven **yes, seven** hours.
But I'd still want to die for a headset... the Bluetooth ones.

I have a set of earbuds that feels really comfortable to ears. I use it when I'm on the go. I don't want to carry a bulk of headset whenever I go out. Problem is, I don't really like rubber buds on my ears that makes me feel like I'm wearing earplugs. It makes me feel unbalanced in walking. Still I'm using it. XD
I'd still want the cordless headsets for the comfort that it brings. =)

Hello resy21curapika, you mentioned before that you are on a chat support team, now I am wondering where do you actually work? Anyway, I prefer earphones over headphones because I tend to listen to music when I travel and I do that a lot. earphone is very convenient as it is functional. I love how small it is as compare to headsets so I can just put it inside my purse without the hassle.

Same thing. I also have a earphone here which has its own casing as I put it away to ensure that It won't get hitched or the cord gets damage.
Unfortunately, it got worse and one of the ear-buds didn't work. These pair which is made in China is not guarantee to last long, though. LOLZ.
Happy mylotting about it and take care!

I prefer to use earphones. Since I found I will have a headache if I use the headsets for a long time. Th earphones are much more convenient and I can even put them in my handbag. And the sound effect is nice in my opinion.
I love China

headphones are more expensive than earphones. Here in where I'm at I can purchase it for only Php35 (almost $0.40) and it last for 3 months the longest. Most probably the wires usually gave up on me and this is really frustrating for me because even that I have those beats Casing from my friend it still gave up for me over time. Those earphones that we have here are those which are made in China.

I am also a music lover but I hate loud music. Actual earphone is the better way than a headset in my views. But both are reason of many accident in India.
Nice to meet you.

Hahaha...same thing here in the Philippines. What's worse is it happened to me as I drive myself home, having earphones as I listen to Fall Out Boy. Funny thing happened after being sent to the clinic is they keep on teasing me "Fall Out girl" because I fell from my scooter.

There are pros and cons to both in my opinion. Headsets block out more sound, but are bulkier. I prefer earphones because they're easy to carry and to me they're more comfortable, and easier to use on the go. I also feel I can move around easier when I use earphones.

It keeps on breaking at me for the cords of either earphone and headsets as it tends to get strangled with something and breaks up whenever I travel. Hope to get a cordless one in the future. Any bands that you know so far?
Or a not-so bulkier headsets, those headsets that can be folded away and put it in a pouch or bag. LOL :)
Hope to hear more form mylotters here about this and more of their opinions ^_^-)

for me headset is better than earphone, why? because in my opinion, earphones was plug directly nearer to your ear so the pressure to your ear must be bigger too, headset in my opinion was just wear like that right? there's still some space from the headset to your ear so it reduce the possibility about something that might hurt our ear.. :D
other than that, headset design is much more better than earphone, so i prefer the headset :D
