do you really need boast yourself that you have a help someone?

it was last month when a calamity strike our place. donations were given to those who are in need. one politician announced on the radio about what he did during the calamity. is it really need to announced it on air? i need your response. thanks.

dear i think that when somebody helps someone else they should not boast about it.That is not helping someone exept yourself.The true meaning of giving to charity is to do it out of your heart and not for yourself.Now if you are doing something for someone else and another person notices and thanks you thats fine .

In other hand it is the chance of the everybody to have some stuff coming from them. Since they only used there charm in helping so that there political popularity increase it is the chance of the masses to take advantage. Who knows if people vote to them.

If you talk about what you do for others unless asked by someone, you lessen the value of what you are doing and it is seen as boasting. Remember, when you do something for someone it is because you want to help and not let others know you are such a charitable person. Don't do it if you want praise for assisting someone in need.

Yes, of course! It can add up a plus points to a Politician. So that people would be aware if where did the money of the people (from the taxes paid annually). It is also called a Transparency Program!
