This year the Olympics will be held in London. But so far it seems I haven't heard any news about it, such as the theme song, the torch relay and so on. I look forward to hearing more about it since I am interested in the Olympics.

But wmingzhen, what about the participants from China? Don't you think youless would hear news about the athletes from China who will be going to London? I feel awful because I don't know what Americans will be in the Olympics this year. I think I was more aware when my children were in school and they'd come home telling em about so and so going to the Olympics, but now I don't know who is going..

There's quite a lot about them in the news here, mainly about the Norwegian contestants of course, about who has managed to run fast enough or leap high enough to be allowed to compete. Also about security, general preparation and how difficult it'll be to get a room to stay if you don't already have one :-)

It seems that there are about 56 days to the Opening Ceremony in London Olympics.

So, in some week when there's only a month left, I think there'll be more news about the Olympics all over the world. 'Cause I think that is about when all the athletes have to be ready and know whether they'll be allowed to go or not. A friend of mine in Wales posted pictures from when the torch was there. A lot people showed up, for Wales :-)

there really has not been a whole lot of it on tv. i have seen some of the relay race but here in Canada, Charles and Camilla are here for a couple of days, not because of the Olympics but because of the Queen's jubilee.

Since last Olympics was held in my country, so I really paid attention to it.

Yes, it is easier to pay attention when it is being held in your own country, but our country still has someone representing them regardless where it is held..Like this year, I don't know who is going from America and I should...
