Since iPad links with your credit card account, so sometimes I find it risky for the young children to play it. My colleague's family had such a terrible experience. They let their child play an English game and they didn't pay attention to it. Finally their child spent them about a hundred dollar to upgrade the equipments of the game. I remember it is a game like Smurfs. Their child is not good in English, so whenever the game pops up "Yes" or "No", then she just clicked yes and you can imagine the result. Finally their parents found it out when they received the credit card bills. But they couldn't complain about it to Apple store anyway

I never knew ipads were linked to credit cards... yeah, they shouldn't let their ids just play with stuff that is linked to money since they don't know how to respond to those questions in the games.. I bet they learned their lesson now.

I think the parents should at least tell their kids if their phones are in plans or link to their account. Kids are kids so they must be informed so that it won't happen again.

Yeah, whenever you have your credit/debit card linked to something, you have to be extra careful!!

Whether it is credit card or not I am not too much in favour of allowing children to fool around with expensive gadgets.First of all, this will make these things too easy for them and they won't realize the value of money.THis needs a lot of gentle handling and a bit of rough handling would ruin the machine also.

Is it automatic in Ipad to link the credit card? Because it is not, maybe the parents must not link her credit card if he she knew her son will play games on her iPad. It is really annoying when you see your credit card are increasing.

From what is described, it is true indeed that it is risky for children to play with an IPAD, especially when a credit account is attached to it. Once bitten, twice shy. So I am sure that the parents of the child are sure to be more careful now after this unexpected incident. Have a good day, youless.
