The Oklahoma Thunder beat the LA Lakers in 5 games to advance to the Western conference finals agaisnt the San Antonio Spurs! I have gottan so sick of the Lakers winning the championship and seeing Kobe Byrant being an overgrown brat! It is Kevin Durrant and the Thunder's time! I hope they make it to the Finals this year!

lakers and kobe bryant did not make it to finals again. base on kobe performance this playoff games. his graphical rate for me is going down and down and down. because he reach his top performance for the past years. and it because he is now going old. im not surprise if kobe will be trade to other team after his contract end on 2014 for the LA Lakers.

I agree Kobe is on the down swing of his career. He refuses to believe it. Then he him blame alots of the Laker loses on his teammates! He is such an @sshole! I read a story on his dad lately and he sure didn't get the selfisness from him! I am sure not form mom either! Anyway Kobe needs to retire someday but that will not happen until Kobe relaizes himself! Don't see that! He'll probaly keep playing even when injuries should tell him,no more!

if the lakers did not make to nba title to the next season, im not surprise that kobe bryant will be kick out on lakers, because he only have 2 year contract to them. hayz lose hope kobe. only 4-5 injuries are not signing up to you after that, you realize you need to retire

I myself really hate the Lakers! Ever seen Bryant became a Lake I have hated them both! Kobe is not just selfish but he blames his teammates alot when they lose games! Pau Gasol was his last victim! I miss the 1980's Lakers with Jabber,Magic Johnson and Coach Riley! They dominated the league but they weren't a selfish team! I enjoyed watching "Showtime"! Now the league is full of money hungry and selfish players! The NBA used to be fun now it isn't! At least the Thunder has put some faith back into my love of basketball!

lol...dang...you didnt have to say you Hate the Lakers, but i guess it comes with the fame. But the Lakers are my team, but OKC has come along and taken over. I like that young team. So as far as the Lakers go, i think they really need a rebuilding stage. Kobe cant do everything. But we will be back..but for now, im jumping on that OKC train..especially since they are the ones that put us out! but we will be back..believe that!

Russell Westbrook simply overpowered Ramon Sessions and Steve Blake throughout the series. That and Kevin Durant continued to be Kid Clutch when needed. I'm excited to see how they fare against the Spurs!

i am ready to see what the Spurs/OKC game is like myself....the Lakers WERE my team for 2012 but i think im going to ride the OKC train all the way to the finals..but im a true fan..so i will get dropped off in LA after the playoffs tho! I never knew who Kevin Durant was...but i know who he is now!

Incidentally Lakers didn't win last year so this is hardly new. Lakers did pretty much the same thing they did in the playoffs last year. They have the personnel to win but for some reason they just don't have the heart. Kobe has the heart he just can't do it all by himself. Not saying he isn't part of the problem. I'm sure he could do more to inspire or encourage his teammates. It just isn't his way. Be interesting to see what the Lakers will do in their off season this year. They certainly have to address their problems because you can't have all this talent and keep disappearing in the playoffs like this.

Kobe is a a selfish brat and I blame that on his parents! I thought when Kobe played on the USA Olypmic team in 2008 when we reclaimed the gold he had done some growing up. Not! He still is a selfish b@stard and is a disgrace to his team! Having Metta World Peace as a teammate doesn't help either! There is another jerk the Lakers have on the team! Heard they might deal Pau Gasol but we will see! There is also the draft at the end of June!

I used to like the Lakers back in the 1980's when Jabbar abd Magic were on the team! I followed the team until Kobe arrived and that was the end of that love a fair! The Clippers have been so bad for so many years! When they have a good team together the team owner messes it all up not long after! I want to follow the Bucks,my home team but I gave up on them! They are always in a rebuilding mode and it has gottan to be non sense! Seeing the Thunder beat the Lakers brought a bit of my love for the NBA back!

Yes! I felt the same way when the Thunder won! I think the Lakers are just a bandwagon team that nearly everybody that is just getting into the NBA likes. I am kinda prejudice here, though, because this is coming from a die hard Boston Celtics fan!

I would like to see the Boston Celtics in the finals, too. Not just the Thunder. The Celtics are getting old thanks to Ray Allen,Paul Pierce and Kevin Garrett getting older! If the Thunder doesn't get to the Finals and win,I would go with the Boston Celtics. It would be nice to see the Celtics win one before the Boston Threeparty retires.

Nice to know there are Oklahoma City Thunder fans out there is great! The San Antionio Spurs will give the Thunder a run for their money but they can win the series! If they do it will take 6 or 7 games for sure! Go Thunder!
