Is purchasing Gary cahil from bolton wanderers strengthen chelsea's defence ?

This englishmen is performing absolutely brilliant in london. He saved many goals during the match of chelsea with barcelona.He block many chots of messi,pedro during the match also against bayern he saved a super shot of mario gomes which seem to be a good goal....

I am a fan of him now. He was simply superb for Chelsea in the UCL games. In Terry, Ivanovic, Cole, Luiz and Cahill, Chelsea has one of the best defense in EPL. They just need to add in some reinforcements in midfield and forward and Chelsea will be a team to watch in the new season.

Yes he is good but still has to improve. Chelsea has always being the team to watch for the past 10 yrs or so.
The have a good defence and midfield but because of injuries.
I do not like luiz still has a lot to learn as a defender.
I still think that Man City will retain the title and do well this year in the UCL.

David Luiz is sometimes a bit reckless - But he is a threat in the attack and heads well. He is also well-build and can be very 'professional' when the situation demands.
Manchester City is capable of doing well in any competition. With the quality of players that they have, even their 'C' team is a match for anybody. But they did not win every competition last season. But for sure next season will be very interesting.

I think he was a decent buy, but I do not think he is a long term great buy for the team. He filled in admirably for John Terry in the finals of the Champions League. But I am not yet convinced that he is one who can perform day in and day out at the highest level.

From relegation battle to Champions League and FA Cup winner within five months, what a transformation for Cahill. In any case, a good addition to the squad always means strengthening of the team. Cahill is a good decent defender and yes, Chelsea has strength the team defence by signing him.
