My friends love the bananas, but every time I eat a lot of bananas always frequent bowel movements, why is that?

Hi bharsil, banana is high in fiber and helps to regulate bowel movement, maybe that is the reason why you get frequent bowel movement everytime you eat it. Also banana fruit has alots of health benefit includes reducing stress, menstrual cramps, anemia and helps to lose weight.

Hi bharsil83, having banana is good for health, but having more than 2 bananas will effect a lot. It contains lot of fiber and proteins, since it has many other vitamins will protect your health conditions but if you take it more it works in reverse, too much is too bad for everything, it may be difficult to digestion, hence you may be getting stomach disorders, more over you put a lot of weight. Having one 1 banana for one day is more useful.

Fruits are good for the health, but i think you should take or eat them more than what you can handle... With the results you have, it is probably not the banana that is causing you to have frequent bowel movement because too much banana in the diet can actually cause people to have constipation - bananas and the potassium causes your bowel to harden...

Banana is a fibrous fruit, fibrous fruit help in bowel movement. I have constipation problem, due to which my home physician has suggested me to take 3 to 4 bananas daily.
