Filipinos are known to be sports lovers. Basketball, Volleyball, Boxing, Billiards, and a whole lot more. We may not excel so much in all aspects but we all support sports in any way we can. We even try to learn new sports just like Tchoukball. Personally, I am a fan of basketball, volleyball, billiards, martial arts, futbol, frisbee, badminton. I may not understand or know every rule that each of those sport has, but I really enjoy watching/playing them. =) Among the various sports in our country, which sport do you excel or play? Which are those that you just enjoy watching even if you don't play it? And among sports that are not available in our country (for example snowboarding, skiing), what are the sports that you wish are available in our country?

Even in schools, sports is promoted thru various activities. We have a subject that is dedicated to learning common sports like sepak takraw, basketball, volleyball, etc. Unfortunately, I'm not up for any sports. I don't have the endurance to withstand it. But, if I was more fit, I would have wanted to join a soccerfootball team or swimming team.

We also had Physical Education (or P.E.) when I was still in school. It's one of my favorite subjects. Hehe! =D If I have the chance to add another sport, I would really love to have cricket or squash in the country.

I like people of all ages indulging in play, sports, and in fact in all kinds of physical exercises. It is a must that all human beings indulged in physical endeavors to strenghthen muscles and overall physical development of the body. Some individuals develop movement skills like boxing, baseball, basketball, etc. to the point of perfection or mastery, giving way to competitions local, national, olympics. The Philippines is in the map because of boxing. Leading the pack is 8-division world boxing champ Manny "Pac Man" Pacquiao, who on December 8 (2012) will see action versus Mexican legend Juan Manuel Marquez in Las Vegas in their 4th boxing encounter. A football team the "azkals" is slowly gaining ground for the country. Personally, during my younger days, I played baseball, basketball and other athletics like the broad and triple jump. I love kite flying, hiking, playing in the open. Now I enjoy watching big boxing matches in the TV, do walking and sunning under the morning and late morning sun.

As of this moment, I don't think I could come up with a certain sport that could be played here in our country. Despite the climate conditions here, I thinks some winter sports could be played already through manipulation of the surroundings. I am not quite sure about this, though. Anyway, like I said... It's as if most of the most popular games around the world is already known here in the PHL, and we even have our own set of the traditional as well as the newly-invented games. :)
