Yes i have seen this problem thousands of times. Sometimes you just need to organize your tim e to respond to everybody. Other times you need to think is it actually worth replying back to.

Hi there... when my started discussion actually receive a lot of responses I would be much happy. I tried my very best to comment back on the responses they give. Thought sometimes I find it hard to response back for I felt I lose out of words that I have just been repeating my words to every responses I made. But it's still okay for I think they deserve to be recognize as well for the effort they made.

I also had these problems that I am not able to comment on all the discussions I have started. Sometimes I take little time off and then reply to them while sometimes I reply to the discussions later. I think sometimes I do not have anything to reply to the discussion.

When my topics receive responses I don't consider them as 'replies' but as considerations from others that need me to say something back to them, even only a smile, like I would in an offline conversation. If I ignore someone offline, they will most likely consider me rude and not bother talking with me again. I feel it's the same here. I satrt very few discussions and sometimes, even with the few that I start, I get behind with the comments. That happened last week and I still have to get back to them. I will do that before I start another new topic though. We ern for posting comments to those responses but those who posted them also earn when they comment back to our comment - and many of them are here just to be able to do that, so I try not to leave any of the responses on my topics unattended. Sooner or later I get back to them all.

Oh yes, i have experienced this a lot.. I am grateful for the lots f responses to my discussions, but some of them are so long or i don't get what they are talking abut at all, or i just can't relate. But i still try my best to reply even one sentence..

I have run into this problem. But I do try and respond to all my friends replies. Especially when I create the discussion.

From time to time I have been known to start a New discussion and when it comes to responding back to them find some that there is no way I could ever respond back to them as I would not know how to respond. If I cannot relate, or if they are just a couple of words, sometimes I will not even rate them as well.

Well not really! If I am replying to a Post, (as I am now) and there is not much to comment on!- ( Incidentally, if you add a bit more your Post it's much easier to make a good comment!) If I'm stumped for a comment, I just tell a story that the Post brings to mind. For instance- As I was going up the stair, I met a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today, I wish that man would go away!

I always try to comment on every response. I am happy when I get many responses, but sometimes it takes me a long time to get back to everyone. Sometimes I am not sure what to write in my comment for instanse because the response is very short or because I can't relate to the things that the person wrote. Wben that happens I decide to wait to wait a little and comment on that repsonse a couple of days later instead. When I wait a couple of days it is suddenly easier for me to comment on the responses. I guess it also depends on my mood. Some days I can just write and write and it very easy for me to think of comments, and some days when I am tired or busy with other things I find it harder to comment on the responses that I get.

I try my best always to comment on the responses to my discussion. I feel it is rude not to acknowledge the responses posted to my discussion. Maybe a short phrase of appreciation or confirmation is enough. Imagine that you are in a live conversation and you have to keep it going.

Sometime someone ask you 'what is your name' - you will reply to it by saying your name. Someone ask you where are you going, you will reply to it. What is the time, you will say the time by looking on your watch - what more, when some come up with a discussion, you cannot simply keep quite, you will respond - yes, once you understand with the topic, I am sure that you might have to say something, and simply speak out it in the 'post response' area and submit, done, that is all.

I guess this happens to all of us. I have notifications enabled on my email when someone puts any comments or responds to any discussions I may have started. I try to respond to them as much as I could but if I feel like I really can't understand their point or the response was even too short to respond to, I just skip them and move on.

Yes, some comments are really hard to respond because it doesn't make sense at all. However, i've came across some starters, they always use the same comments for all their responders, never even bother to say much. I find that it's like a form saying just for the sake of saying and they didn't even read the comments from responders. I don't mind if my respond has no comment from starter but if the overall discussion has no comments from the starter and yet they have time to start new ones, i would simply delete them.

The only reason i don't reply to those who has responded to my discussion is when i find it useless to respond to them or i don't comprehend them at all.

Lol. When I face this problem, i try to get an idea or at least a one liner with a thank you note.

hi, yes indeed,we wanted to earn as many as we can but there are some topic opened by our friends here that we usually dont have idea to comment.but i think its just normal because there some information or topic we dont know or not yet open to us or just first to hear here.i always face that but not a problem to me.

Well, my answer to your question, obviously in my case is yes. Unfortunately many times I have no idea how to respond to all those who have commented on my discussions. Sure, I read them all, and this is without a doubt! But, on the one hand it is rare that I assign the "best response" on the other hand, many comments are without "note", for the same reason your.

I have a hard enough time just keeping up with discussions I have posted on. i tend to comment once and not look back until the "new" area has kind of dried up. Then I just check the "responded" area. I don't think i will start many discussions myself. It seems a lot more interesting to see what goes on in other peoples' heads than my own. i deal with me all the time lol
