Well, you know that many of my acquaintances, before buy a computer, ask advice of me, so that, as I mean to me enough, me leave the trust. There is only a detail that escapes me in your discussion that you want to spend a tidy sum even getting $ 30K! This leaves me totally astonished. I'm used to handling equipment at a cost less than $ 1000! What do you by any chance, a mainframe? See, however, the brand you can recommend to you as to other people is ACER. I never had any kind of issues. I'm still talking about low-cost machines, to sophisticated equipment such as the amounts available to youI can not give you advice about it.

alberello, 25k to 30k sums up around US $ 500-550. The OP is from India, so he didn't mentioned the currency which left you astonished. Btw, Acer is good brand. Its cheap and fits your budget. Go out to any Acer showroom nearby your place and get a live demo of the laptop which comes in your budget. Acer is very much famous in India. Few of my friends are using it. Its service is also good in India.

Hi vinodhkanna2005. I like Dell laptops. I think they have good funcionality and I didn't have problems with them. But I think you need to give more informations to get a better answer. For example, you say your budget is around 25k, but what currency? How much is it in dollar or other more used currency? And why do you want the laptop, to play, to work or what? For example, if you are going to buy a laptop just to use the internet and simple things, you don't need a top configuration (at least, this is my opinion). Happy mylotting.

Ok, so I think you should invest in a Dell, Toshiba or Acer laptop. I have worked with all of them and I didn't have problems with anyone. My actual laptop is a Toshiba and I bought it 3 years ago and I've never had problems with it. But to work I still prefer to buy a Dell, I think they are stronger. I just don't recommend HP laptops. I have some friends that told me that their HP laptops get too hot and they some problems with them. Happy mylotting.

lctravenisk, few friends of mine also recommended dell laptops. As they are good for using professionally and also domestic. I have few doubts about acer, toshiba and lenova. As acer is cheap and best to buy! But, it has poor backups. What do you think.

you meant 25k to 30k in USD, or other currency? You can get a reasonable laptop around $400 to $500, and you can run it pretty decent, with updated Windows operating system. So, all you need to do just read some of those customer reviews. Like Dell, or Sony are the good brand name that I would recommend you to get.
