Ingrown toenails can be taken care of by simply preventing them in the first place. Cut your nails and keep them short so they don't have a chance to curl over. Also, wearing proper sized shoes that are roomy enough in the toes helps as well. If you have an infection, make sure to see the doctor for antibiotics, and also putting antibacterial cream on it as well will help.
