My husband and I were talking and getting a second job came up. We are currently looking to move and want to save money to do so. Although we both work and have our own Herbalife business and it's going well. We just think getting a second job for a few months will help to save more money.
Would you ever consider working a second job? or do you have a second job and has it helped you save money?

It all depends on your job right now. If it's low pay and to not to stressful and not hard labor, then maybe.

WOW, you were super busy. LOL! i know that it's just something we are talking about to do for the next few months to get us to the next step in our future. Nothing long term. This will be the money that goes into a savings account to save for our house in the next few months to a year. We have a 7 year old little girl so we both can't work a second job, but we will figure out a way to make our dreams come true

Well, my job is 37.5 working hours per week and with a reasonable good paid, so I think it is good enough. However, if my working hours are less and need extra money, then I would consider a second job to make ends meet.
Alternatively, if there was a second job offered related to my hobby like music; dance or sewing, I wouldn't mind to work a couple of extra hours per week. :-)

I will find a second job if i find the income is less from the first job. I will try my best to do the same job at the the time so that i can earn a lot with a month but the problem is regarding the time. Each of the job need a lot of time to complete the works so i don't think it will be easy to do all the works within time.

I'm currently looking for a job right now but after I find a regular work, I am also planning to look for a second job or any part time works. I believe that we should exert all efforts we have while we are young since we never know until when can we work. Also saving some extra money won't be bad either for emergency purposes or some leisure stuffs in the future. :)

I had not, as any money we have is counted against my sons benefits. He has CP and has been through many surgeries. We need to keep his benefits, as there is just no way we could ever pay for his equipment and medical expenses. One surgery was over $300,000.

if your health is not at risk then go for it. We all need to save some money. But I hope you take care of your health because as we know HEALTH IS WEALTH. So goodluck.

Well, if based on your skills and abilities, and your time and energy, you can take a second job, then why not? Having additional job gives you the benefit of earning additional income. And don't underestimate the power of extra income, for it can help you buy the things you want, while the primary income buys the things that you need. Go on, and make it happen.

Yeah a second job should be considered only if it offers better security and money than the first one.. But after all it will depend on a person's present status. If he is comfortable with his present job, then he need not to consider the second job..

being here at mylot is a great way to make some money. but to make a lot of money here you need to start bring others to the site and do what you do. I have been making online money for years now. Mylot was the first site i found to make money with. Now i have a bunch of them. so many I created my own money making website. I love it and it brings in some money each month. not yet enough to stop working my current job. but i am working on that

At the moment I only have one job, but from July I am going to have two jobs. One job is from Monday to Friday and the other job is Saturday and Sunday. It will be quite hard to work 7 days a weeks, but I have done it before and I know that I can do it again. I have chosen to have two jobs for a couple of months because I am saving up for a trip to Asia.
I have part of the money that I need for my trip, but I still need the money for insurance, food, entrance fees, taxis and all those things, and that it is reason why I have chosen to have two jobs. I was very happy when I got the second job because I want to travel in end of this year so I really need the extra money. It was quite easy to get an extra job in the summer months. Most of the other employeea are going on vacation, but I am going to stay at home and work every day

I am a teacher and then teach swim lessons on Saturday mornings and occassionally lifeguard in the evenings. It gets me free membership for myself and my family to the facility and I get a check for about $50 a month. The money goes directly into an account here in town that I do not access. It is my rainy day fund.

yeah, i ever thought about the 2nd job to earn much more money than i usually do. in my opinion, if we have some spare time and we can use it to earn more money so that we can save it, why not? i think everyone want to save more money so maybe then they can spend it in urgent condition or even to buy something they have wanted for so long.
i'm personally has a 2nd job as a script translation, so i'm doing translation from bahasa indonesia to english and vice versa, it doesn't makes quite lots of money but still i think it's better than not. at least i can earn more money than i usually do :D

Hello friend, getting a second jobs requires time too. For Herbalife or Amway or anything similar to those requires time too. From networking to marketing to presentation. If both of you goes to the office as regular employees then doing these part time is not very successful. You need full time investment for this kinds of business.
