Do you save money at home?

The day after I got married, I went out and purchased a bank in the shape of a very large crayon. Every evening we put our change in it. We are saving for a nice vacation next year. We would love to go on a nice honeymoon. Do you have a bank at home that you use for a special reason? What is it?

I save money for vacations in three ways. I save all my online earnings for vacations as I have enough to live on a budget. I transfer the money from my paypal account to my credit card as soon as I have enough to be worth it. Besides that, my credit card gives me a small amount of dollars, depending on how much I pay with it. I buy almost everything with the credit card, but pay it all at the end of the month so I don´t have interests on the money I use. Besides that, I have a piggy Bank where I put the largest coins in my currescy. They also are for vacations and they add up. I place money on my piggy bank each time I save on any item, as a way of paying me for being thrifty. In 2 weeks I´m going for vacations. More than half the airfare was paid with the dollar prizes of my credit card and all the lodgings are being paid by my online earnings

Thanks for best answer, momma. Day go by and in less than a week I`ll be landing on St. Maarten and feeling the sun. The lodgings will cost me less as I`m going with a friend and we are splitting costs.

I used to have a piggy bank at home. But one time, I really needed money to buy something and I used it and it was even only half full. I think I am going to have another one and I will promise myself not to touch it until it is full.

You should do that. I have my own personal savings bank and the one I have with my husband. Mine is almost full and I can't wait to open it and treat myself to something really special!

I save my change, although I have no plans for it. It is just here. I have no idea how much we even have.

We actually have a lot of coin banks at home. My mom loves them. I have 2 and I believe my mom has 3. I never got to full my coin banks since I usually get some money there if I want to buy something. :)
