We have mangoes in our fridge today. My mother from our province sent us about 5kilos of mangoes thru my brother in law. Thinking how to consume those mango aside from eating it as dessert, I suggest my wife that I'll be making a no-bake-mango-cheesecake. I already made mango preserve this morning to be used as filling and toppings to the cheesecake. I hope it will another success like what I made last Christmas.

That sounds delicious!! I am VERY jealous of your fridge full of mangoes! Mangoes are my son's favourite fruit but they are very expensive here in the UK (of course they do not grow here)I think that my son would be in his element with 5kg of his favourite fruits

My aunt has a tree intheir yard so my mother asked her some to send us. I already made preserves so it will be easier for me to do it when I got home. My son loves to eat it but I didn't give him too much because it can promote prickly heat especially now here in our country that it is still summer.

Me too, I am not that fan of mangoes. I can make other cheesecake but since we have plenty of this in our fridge, I just made this one. Also, this is one of the favorite of my wife. Good day!

I just search for the internet on how to make no bake cheesecake. I just hope that this time it will be a success again. I am trying to use alternatives, instead of cream cheese, I'll try "laughing cow" milky cheese. I hope it will have the same result. Try to search for the net for the recipe. I think it is prohibited to post such here in mylot.

That sounds wonderful. I seldom eat mangoes because they don't grow here, and they are very expensive, but love them. Mango cheesecake must be so delicious! I wonder if they could be turned into ice cream, too.

Yeah, I have done it yesterday but there might be problem. The filling does not mold, it is still little creamy but tastes good. the filling taste like ice cream. Yes you can have mangoes into ice cream too. If ever I read your response yesterday, I might made a homemade icecream rather than cheesecake. hehehe.
