Originally Sony wanted the PS3 to last a full ten years but I think with the planned release of a new Xbox and Wii they've decided to make a change of plans. I've heard many rumors that indicate it will be available by the end of 2013 but I'm not sure if I believe it. Even if they intend on releasing it before Christmas I could very easily see them pushing it back. One thing I heard that was very interesting to me about this new system is that the games will be kind of like regular computer games. They'll be like regular computer games because you'll get a security key that comes with your game. This will cause people to not be able to buy used games. In response Gamestop has stated they'll not be selling the PS4. If they really go along with making their games have security codes it will ruin the used video game business. Also I a lot of kids will take a game over a friends house and play it. I wonder if that would still be possible.
