According to the most reliable rumor iPhone 5 will be announced on Wednesday September 12th and iPhone 5 will be released for sale on Friday September 21st.
It is said that iPhone will be the super thinnest in the iphone series and has 3.9 screen as per rumors. It would have been designed with bigger screen, different back side and a smaller connector at the bottom.

At the moment, the new features are purely speculation. Many believe that the iPhone screen is simply too small now in comparison to various Samsung and HTC models, and that the screen will be bigger in order to compete. Release date is late summer - between August and October.
