Getting Caught Off Guard By Your Own Random Thoughts

There have been times where I have been sitting there, working and suddenly it comes right into my head a thought that there is something that I need to do. Sometimes it really strikes me out of nowhere, as why at that particular time that I would remember that I would have to do something like that at a particular time. But obviously if it is important, the thought or the time doesn't matter, just the fact that we remember it.

I interrupt myself frequently and that is not productive. I find in that situation I just need to write it down to do later on.

Oh my, that is so true of me. I'm your typical daydreamer. I start to make up stories in my mind or random things and experiences pop into my mind out of nowhere, subconsciously... I'm the one to burst into laughter for no visible reason and the one to hum or sing out louder in the streets (just because they remembered an awesome song).

This is just one aspect as to how complex and amazing our mind/brain works. I generally like to escape certain times of the day because of how much I detest where I am so I daydream a lot. However, the random thoughts don't help when you're trying to get work done or having to do something and then forget what it was you had to do.
