I drink almost 4 big mugs of coffee a day. I prefer coffee with cream and sugar. I had it at the morning, mid afternoon, night and midnight. It's like my day is not complete when times I can't even drink one. My stomach aches when I missed drinking one. Is that quite ok? Any suggestions on what is really the limitations of drinking coffees?

Thanks, yes I'll have to start drinking coffee less. I know much caffeine is really not quite advisable since I am not getting any younger at all. :)

Well, studies have shown that coffee is good for you because of the antioxidants, but that is between three and five cups per day. I wouldn't really recommend anything more than that (I get heartburn or sick after five cups in a week). If you get stomach aches if you don't have one then I don't think that's a good sign. I highly suggest on doing some research or asking your doctor about this.
Good luck!

I drink coffee 3-4 times a day. So, I guess, this wasn't even bad at all. Yes, my stomach aches when I don't drink coffee especially during morning, maybe because i was really used to it ever since college. thanks for the concern amoran3.:)

I am a coffee addict as well, but my pancreas or at least that part of my abdomen hurt everyday (it wasn't for the longest time), so we figure out I might have stone on pancreas, that's what they call it.Went to doctor and he prescribed me a medicine to be taken for a month, no coffee, salty and sodas. Thank God,the pain is due to too much drinking coffee aside from I am acidic and coffee is a big no. I thought I'd go under the knife. I am still adjusting on no coffee as much as I want it so bad. Less drink coffee for u, 1 cup a day maybe. ;-)
