I am. I've bought several beautiful clothes from "ukay-ukay" or secondhand clothes store at super low prices. We have "ukay-ukay" stores in our place that are air-conditioned and where clothes are all in hangers so you can have your clothes hunting in the most comfortable way. When these stores drop their prices, that's the time that I go to hunt and buy maybe 3 or 4 at a time. How about you? Do you also go to seconds stores or what we call the "ukay-ukay" stores?

I am not an "ukay-ukay" hunter but my husband is.
He would always buy jackets from these stores and would end up not wearing them, because he realizes it's too large for him. Then i would also bring them to my nephews but they wouldn't take it because they were also too large for them.
So, i would give it to the caretakers of some of our lots when they visit us. They are large people.

I really don't know why my husband would buy a jacket so big for him. I suppose even if there is no mirror, you can for yourself gauge if a jacket is so big for you.

I am not an "ukay-ukay" hunter at all. I really don't like the feeling that i am wearing secondhand clothes from who i doesn't know. I scare..even though i know that these clothes are washed carefully before selling, it is still good and cheap also...

No I'm not, my arms can't stand the way of digging the clothes so I can choose what is good. I have lots of friends tend to visit the store and invite me but I say no to them. Also I don't like the smell of the clothes I'm allergic of it. I keep sneezing when I smell those clothes. But I'm not picky If I saw one good hanging on the stall I also buy it.

No. I am not a secondhand hunter. As far as I know the family members or friends as well are not the fan of ukay-ukay stores. The one store we have nearby I have checked the clothes they have but I don't get interested with it. There are other several secondhand stores but they are more to jeans and pants.(^^)

I've tried so before, but haven't gone to an ukay-ukay again. I don't know. Maybe I'm just too lazy to rummage through a pile of clothes. I'm not patient enough for that. But lucky you, the store you go to is airconditioned and with folds neatly displayed. Care to share with us where you shop? Maybe I can try it there.

I used to back when I was still in high school.
When I entered college, I feel like I cannot
find anything good anymore in the ukay ukay
so I don't shop there anymore and whenever I
enter an ukay ukay, it smells really bad.

I go to secondhand stores a lot. I just love everything about them. First of all, if you know where to go, you're gonna find thrift stores with good quality, not lousy, not outworn stuff, some even have their original price tags on. Most of that stuff have not been worn more than stuff in your average boutique (where loads of people have tried that stuff on you're going to buy). Also, I like that I can get my hands on not mass-made stuff which can make me unique. And I love the hunting!
Also, as they are cheaper, I can build up a really versatile and diverse wardrobe from less money that I would pay for one or two mall pieces.

I'm one of them. In my cousins place lots of second clothes in there. During the night, we were fixing ourselves as if where we were going.
There's nothing to be ashamed of having those clothes. In fact I see lots of people went there wearing their office uniforms, others even brought their cars with their family and friends just to buy there.
When you are walking on the street wearing them, nobody will ask you, are you wearing "ukay-ukay" dress? As based on what I experienced lots of people asked me this way, " How nice is your dress. Is it very expensive?" When i told them, no it is just $2.00, they were shock and wanted to buy some there too.
