Some people don't realize how important health is until they get sick regret everything. Some people work so hard for money not giving much importance on health. As a result, lots of money is being spent. And there comes the realization that money is indeed our wealth. How can we make more money if we don't care of our health.

that's very true tess_quinain . We should always be concern with regards to our health. The first time we feel that there is something wrong we shouldn't have a second thought of going to the doctors for check up. The earlier the diagnosis the better of chances the recovery is the the less money we will spend.

Hi!
Yes you are very right that we should take care of our health as it is said - 'Health is wealth'.
People keep running after money, instead of sparing some time for upkeep of their health and when they suffer with ailments then they realize their follies/mistakes.

How about knowing how much one's limit is?
I know that this is my problem. I don't know that I'm already tired until I've finally finished my work in totality. I won't be able to sleep well without putting to a close my tasks. That's why every time that I'm done with something big, I get sick big time too. I get nightmare about not being able to pass my project on time even after a few weeks later. And even though I've already realized this mistake, I can't help but still have to finish it all. Because I have to, because my professors needed the project I'm working on and because this is how our society today works.
The society is already killing it's students softly; the employees being drained until nothing can be squeezed out from them anymore and when finally they fail to work, they'll be thrown away, right?

Some people really work hard to earn money not knowing that those money they have worked hard for will only be spent on their lost health. I often see that with seniors here in our place. Seniors with lots of cash, but ailing health. I think, that's the life path for ordinary and not health empowered people.

The sad fact is that, only a few of us are empowered or educated about health. There are so many people out there who don't have this privilege of knowing about the value of health. Try go out there and have some interviews with ordinary people.

Money is very important for us to live in this world but make sure that you are not dedicating your health fro making money. When money is lost something is lost but health is lost something is lost. Health cannot be replaced by money. Health only comes when we have proper food in proper time. This is the one of the key point to get good health. Money can never get you health. It can get only you foods and other items needed by your body. Eating food to get your lost health do not make you to get them fast. So I think it is very important to give health more importance than money.

Yes, the majority of people out there do nothing to help their Health until something Big happens and they then realize that their Health is important and hopefully there is enough Health Care out there, and money to help get them the time they need to feel better as well. I know even when you are pro active and get the help it is not always there like you want, so why mess around and almost wait until it is too late?

Your statement is true if you mean people who live in farms and in remote areas... But what about the city people? They cannot survive without money if they live in the city. If they can survive, it'll be only for a few years. And if they still live for many a year, then they end up consuming the garbages of other people...

It is never good to gamble with health. Because we tend to lose.
I guess it would be best to invest on health while young and maintain it as well as on one's ability to make money--that does not depend on your ability to work.
There are ways to make money you know, without you needing to work but only let your money work for you. And this is what I want to do.

You can't buy everything with your money. As there's a saying, 'prevention is better than cure' and 'health is wealth'. We need money to enjoy life but what's enjoyment without good health. You have spend your beautiful money in hospitals otherwise!!

That's true health is wealth. Some people became too busy making money. My friend also experience this when she was been hospitalized because of over fatigue. She's so workaholic. We should take care of our body as this is our way to earn money.

Our health is very important, but it is a sad truth that it takes a bit of a shock to be able to show us that we really do have to take care of ourselves, and that nobody else is going to do that for us. In early 2011, I found that I was no longer able to get up the stairs without getting out of breath, and I knew that I was going to have to do something about that. So, I started to diet and exercise, and I have lost six and a half stone since I started that. I am very pleased with myself, and it would finally seem as though I have managed to sort out my own health in the long term, which is obviously good news for me.

We used to listen to this phrase but we tend to break it often than follow it.(^^)
I am very sure that everyone know and realized about how important to take a good care of our health but due to some reasons they tend to let them at the side and go towards the goal that is- of course money. It is not that they simply ignore it but sometimes they need and have to work hard so they just neglect the right of the body. Anyway I am grateful that God has giving me a healthy body and it is our job to take a good care of it.(^^)

Well, we all know that money is important to us , because without it , we can't buy our necessities and pay our bills.
However, as we make money, we should see to it that we also take some exercise and eat healthily. You may be busy, but don't eat always on those fast foods. There are a lot of cheaper and healthier foods we can buy.
And don't overstress yourself with your job. Just take it easy.

You do have some point! But some times we have to work hard not to earn much money, but to get enough money. We will take care of our health if we have much money. So the fact is wealthy people tend to take care of their health.

I had been in that situation before. I learned my lesson. It is always a great idea to earn and save money while taking care our health. Like always putting in our heads, the famous lines - "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure". Like this coming Saturday, I earmarked just a small amount of money enough for our annual medical checkup. My wife and I make it a point that we have to do it now. See, I think it's always cheaper than being admitted and confined in a medical facility for so many days. Also, we allocated some of our time for a dental checkup next week. Simple things like including fruits and vegetables in our grocery list and some vitamins/supplements are in mind. We walk a lot and that will serve as our exercise. I believe that being healthy needs to be inexpensive.

I encountered so many people like that. Especially those people who were working hard and those who spent too much for their night life.
