Loved the Ending

When I heard that House was going to end, I was told that he would wind up in prison, so really did not want to watch it. Then after the summary, I saw that he was in a burning building and then thought he would die heroically. Was I ever surprised that he and Wilson went out on a motorcycle ride together. It was so exciting and a good ending to the show. I am now considering buying the dvds for the show. So were you as surprised as I was at the ending?

I'm glad that House did one totally unselfish thing in the end. He treated Wilson horribly and I a glad that he sacrificed everything to be with him until the end and great him well. But, I must have missed something. Why was he in that building and why was it burning?

Treat him well, not great him well.

i thought he was with the guy that did heroin and the guy had over dosed on purpose because of what house had said to him. because i think house was not wanting to face the end with wilson dieing. so he was just staying in there with the guy doing heroin and thought he might have done it to. thinking it would be an easy way out. hence the halucinations

so the burned body they found was the heroin addicts and he had switched records so it would seem it was him

I have heard the show ended in this way, so a movie could be made in the future. Personally, I think that is a good idea, as look how many shows have come back years later in some way. Dallas is a good example of a show that had ended a long time ago and returns this summer.

We see what happens over the years and how the sons have grown up. Personally, I'm gad to see the show again and hope it lasts for awhile. The show airs on TNT.

I do not know if we get TNT up here. I know when we had the big dish, we used to get it, but now I have cable. I did see it on our tv listing but thought it was the old show. I did like the old show. So it is a continuation of that, not a complete remake of the original. That makes it more interesting. WE do have the old series on DVD at Future Shop and Best Buy though.

I really enjoyed the end of House as well. My husband and I have been recording the episodes and had not caught up. So Monday afternoon we watch 3 episodes before the series finale. I was crying so hard at the show that aired last week that I didn't want to watch the series finale. I was extremely happy that it wasnot a sad episode at all

I have watched every episode of House from the beginning. I love doctor shows. It was ironic that Wilson got cancer, but was not surprised as I have heard of doctors and nurses and health workers getting the disease that they dedicated themselves to fighting. I did not like Wilson being a know it all, and sometimes wished he would shut up sometimes. I did think that House was being mean because he did not have a compass to make him more nicer. I did hope that he would have stuck with his wife and not prevent her from knowing that her application for a green card or whatever had been approved.

I really liked the ending, too. Like one of the other respondents, I have no idea why he was in a burning warehouse but that's okay since it set the tone of the episode--self-confrontation and change. It was nice to see that Wilson was going to die doing something he loved to do and House was finally learning that his need for control was a self imposed prison.

I haven't got a chance to watch that movie yet. I'm a movie addict and I was curious what this is. I'll post a response to your questions as soon as I watched the movie.

It is a Tv show. It is already on Dvd, except for this last season and the dvd for that will probably be out next year.

Not really, I know House is wiser than being burnt inside the building, that was way too stupid for a main character to exit the story. I loved House MD series and we already have a collection from season 1 to season 8 :D

He would not have wanted to die, and perhaps he went into save that addict and was caught, but you have to consider that the addict would have entered in a back way and House would have followed him and would have gone back the way he came in.

I can't say I'm a major fan of "doctor" shows, but I did end up watching a fair bit of St. Elsewhere because someone else watched it when I was around - and I have to say that the ending of that show was REALLY weird!
