I wasted my day writing

I had a frustrating day.
I wrote two articles and both of them will be rejected. The first one had to do with spinning and that is just too hard for me so I know that one will be returned.
The second was an ordinary article but it was rejected for plagiarim which is not the case. The keywords the client asked for are the ones in question. I cannot do anything about that because that is what the client wanted.
It is just a wasted day.

How sad to receive rejections on articles that you give effort to write.
According to my wife, who is into writing articles and posted in her blog as required by the client, don't get frustrated when your articles have been rejected. You cannot please anybody. Sometimes, it does not passed their standards.
I hope this will not serve for you to stop writing but to motivate you to continue. That's life, sometimes, you will receive rejections that helps you to be strength.
Good day!

I am a professional writer, very few articles of mine ever get rejected, but today is an exception. I will not spin articles anymore that is for sure, and the other one is not my fault there is nothing I can do about it because it was what the client wanted.

Thanks for this introduction. I have bee wondering about spin articles myself but I cannot find a good example for the said type of articles. I usually do original articles which by now, is becoming my forte and my misery. If you don't mind, how does rewriting articles differ from spinning articles?

no but the company read it over and has accepted now. They sent it to their client for approval.

Sounds like you are using the same writing site I had had so much trouble with. Very little info and then they aren't happy with your work when you to it right to their specifications. I got two rejected in a row too and they were done just like the client wanted. Ugh!

it is a site that gets clients like T did. But they looked over the article manually saw that it was not plagiarized, it was the keywords the client asked for that came up and nothing could be changed, they had asked me to fix it and resubmit, I told them I couldn't I was following the keywords the client asked for. So they looked at it manually and accepted it and sent it on to the client for his approval.

I wonder if they steal your work after rejecting it? They have it, for sure. I'd be checking the net to see if they are stealing content.. nothing a person can do if they are stealing.

Hi Winterose, why dont post these two articles in revenue sharing sites?
At least you will not waste your effort.
The problem with ghostwriting is that employers can be extremely fussy.
That is why I like writing and retaining the rights to my content.
The earning is very slow at first, but will pick up once I have a bulk of content to work for me.

those sites will never pay you as much as ghostwriting sites, I have been doing both for over 10 years now. Anyhow the article was finally accepted.

hi.! yes, article writing is good and sometimes I enjoyed writing articles, sometimes not. But having a arcticle rejected is such a bad thing. You write with your heart and you exert you effort in writing them you will be rejected thats not good to hear, i also got rejected with the reason "useless content" thats so awful. He can say that I need to improve my article, but saying that its useless get me on my nerves.

useless content that is rough.
The company read over my article after I told them it could not be fixed because this is what the client wanted and they accepted it now. They sent it to the client now for approval.

I guess we all have to have a bad day now and then, but what a bummer. Can you request a review for the so called plagiarism? I would think that if the client wanted those keywords, you wouldn't be at fault, but not everyone sees it that way.
It seems like it's getting harder to make money writing online.

What plagiarism? Find me a word in the English language that someone hasn't previously put in writing, and I'll give you a million dollars!!! I'll bet you every word in this response has been used by a billion english-speaking people in the last five minutes, alone! LOL So sue me!!
Better luck tomorrow.

straight copying or copying parts of an article is plagiarim and you could get sued for that. Writers have protection just like song writers or play writers, etc. it is not one word.

Call me weird but I don't think it was a wasted day. You wrote something. Many have the B word. ( I don't say Writer's block to a writer) So just keep these pieces , there may be another client that will love them. Just look at any day that you create as a good day.

Hello Winterose, I feel so sad about this issue, and i think with so many writers online today it can be helped if there are similar topics that some similar to the other. this is one of the main reasons why i don't want to go on the writing sites, because i know not only am slow and that every single article i write wouldn't be that much original. am sorry for what happened to you

Sorry to hear that! One of those live and learn kind of days - frustrating - but eh, that is life. I know I've wasted some time here tonight! I wrote a couple long comments on a discussion and when I hit post response, myLot gave me some strange one liner in red that says it was unable to post and that I need to write in letters, punctuation, something something . . . what?! And my discussion was POOF - gone, even when I went back a page. Silly me, I don't save my discussions because in most cases I never need to. But after going through this TWICE, now I know - even though I know I should have in the first place. Sigh. Ah, like I said, that's life.

the company looked at my article manually and accepted it to go to the client, I did not plagiarize but the computer doesn't see that it only goes by the words it picks up that are the same as in other articles. It does not look at the actual article, only people can do that.

I also experienced that. I spent a lot of my time writing onto some subject, consuming a lot of effort yet the result was rejection. :( that's was really frustrating and I almost really didn't enjoy writing at all. All I did was stop writing for the meantime, enjoy my time, enjoy myself and started to feel writing again. Just build some inspirations and motivations to still continue to write. :)

Today is a normal day for me. I just did only few posts here. Some day it happens for us as wasted one. I had also had such day. I would use that article somewhere else which is under my control like my blogs. Thus it is useful anyway to me.

the article was finally accepted, the site managers looked it over manually when it did not pass the computer check. It would not have been an article I could use anywhere else.

You asked me what company I am talking about. I am speaking of Zemandi. I'm glad you're so thrilled with them but just be careful. This is one of their tricks. They tell you the client didn't want it or something then they take it at a reduced rate. Yes they stole every single article of mine. And after they told me I had tons of mistakes I found each and every one of my articles on the internet unchanged. Did you look at the thread I told you about? The one on hub pages?

no I didn't could you give it to me again, a friend of mine recommended zemandi. They took the article today. They told me I am a great writer, well I will see how things go with them.

Yes they told me I was a great writer also. It wasn't until after about the fifth article that the problems started. All of a sudden there were mistakes. Well the articles that were so problematic now have false authors names attached to them and I have nothing. Thank god I didn't spend more time with them.Just search their name with scam and the thread on hub pages (have you tried hub pages ?) will come up. I am sure they don't scam everyone otherwise they wouldn't have anyone writing for them.
They might pick and choose or see how far they can push someone to get them to write articles for them at a reduced rate. Like I said let me know if you want legitimate writing sites that pay and I'll email you the list for nothing, no secrets, everyone knows about all of them. Some I use and some I just hear about. There hasn't been enough time in my life to try them all. All writing sites need time but I'll include paying sites that I use that don't require much time.

Treat it as a lesson learned winterose. At least you have an idea how they do business in this realm. I have experienced the same reactions before and trust me it was worth the pain. At least I get projects now that practically gives me a weekly income.
Try to stay cool. If you have questions am open. PM me anytime.

I am a professional writer I get hundreds of dollars every month from writing. There was no lesson in this just things that happen in the writing world.
I will not do spinning again though, because I am not good at it. The other article was finally accepted after they looked at it manually and saw that it was not plagiarized.

That would make me drop them. Refusing because of plagiarism is a serious accusation. Our reputation as writers is at stake. Can you message them and ask what you are supposed to do when it is their own keywords? I know at places like Elance you can message the client. I don't know about Zemandi.

sally it is the computer software program, they use copyscape and they want 100 percent original, they refused they article, in that form, gave me the option to fix it, and then I told them I couldn't fix it because it was the keywords, and so they read it over personally and accepted it, You can't ask for more than that.
knoji is no better they give us the option to edit, then they accept it but usually with a big decline in bonus, zemandi gives the same amount they originally offered so they are better than knoji.
