At the age of 28, I started to like putting make-ups. Even before when I was into puberty stage, My friends and classmates started to put face powder, lipstick, blush on and colognes. I really didn't appreciate it at all, and even allergic to see someone putting it into their faces. I was really the ugly duckling.
But now, I started to like it. Make-ups covers everything behind our faces, whether its sadness nor ugliness. It boosts our confidence being a woman thinking that we are really beautiful and discovering it behind our make-ups are more on a positive start of something serious.:) Although, as of now, I still prefer a light make-up. My best friend, a beauty advisor of a leading brand of make-up, told me that a set of perfect make-up are: lisptick, face powder, blush-on and a mascara. Those are the should-carry set according to her.:)

I too don't put make up. I know it makes you look a lot more beautiful. I always wonder what I'll look like if I had put make up. But I don't think it'll suit my skin. Make up should be done with care and also returning home after going out, you have to carefully clean your face and remove all of them. I mean, isn't that difficult than simply rinsing your face? I like make up but I don;t like spending money on them and they are little expensive too no.

I was like you too. I was a late bloomer.
I only learned how to apply makeup when I was
18. My classmates in college are all like pros
when it comes to makeup and I was just starting.
Even when I was in high school, my friends are
so fond of beautifying themselves and I was like
really not interest in beautifying myself.

It is never too late to discover the beauty of make-up. I have always loved make-up. It allows people to express themselves by achieving a look that is all their own. Don't get me wrong, when applying make-up we want to do it right. A little education about make-up is a good start. I never use anything that is too expensive; the budget won't allow it. But, they are making make-up better than ever. Some with skin nourishing ingredients and sunscreen. I agree with you when you say that lipstick, face powder, blush, and mascara are important make-up staples. Also, don't forget the concealer. I only discovered the benefit of that 8 years ago. It is a must for women over 30. I hope you enjoy make-up now and for the rest of your life. I know I will.

I am a little bit like you, except that I don't really wear make up even now. It is just something that I never really bothered about when I was younger, even though a lot of my friends spent most of their time trying things on and making themselves look a lot older. I didn't have the time for this as I was busy, and it still isn't something that I really enjoy doing. I will make more of an effort now than I would have done in the past though, and I will make sure that my hair is nice, and I will wear make up if I am going out anywhere for some reason.

We choose to wear make-up now maybe because of being quite matured and something being professional. For some reasons, it does really looks better wearing it. :)

Well, unlike most ladies I don't like wearing make ups. What's inside my purse are face powder, lip gloss/balm and cologne. That's all enough for me and I don't know why. I just want myself to be simple and most of the times I wear jeans/pants and shirt/blouse only. I am not so feminine I think.

a pleasant day cromainer,
honestly speaking, i was a late bloomer as well. as i started to put some cosmetics on my face when i was already in my third job, whereas my age then was around same as yours. since it was a part of our grooming, so i must put some make-up on my face. as we are required to have it according to our rule book in the office. although i was not in a front-liner position, hence, that is a part of the grooming. aside from that, it is a point to be consider when we are having a performance grading. so because of that, i was trained to use make-up and use some other sets of make-up. and it is a must to have it inside my bag during those years.

I'm 23 and a mom and I still don't like make up. I don't think I'll ever like makeup. It just isn't me at all because It make me feel like I'm hiding from people who I really am and the same with others. I don't feel make up is need for anything at all.
