Losing contact with friends is very sad, but I think that it is just something that happens in life when priorities change. You're bound to see your friends more when you're in school, because you are forced to be together all day whether you like it or not. Now that you've left school and started work, you can't see them every day because you all keep different hours. This does not have to be a bad thing, as it gives you the chance to grow on your own, however you should make sure that you arrange to meet up with each other at least every month so that you don't lose contact completely, as this would be sad when you have been through so much together as friends.

It is good to meet now and then and keep phone contact - I have some old friends who have moved away and I contact with them in Facebook.
