I have picked up my interest in beading again. For my DDIL I made a spiral choker done in silver with a fine aqua blue line and attached a glass heart pendent. I just loved the spiral design and had to make me a bracelet in gold and colbalt blue. I just ordered beads from Fire Mountain and decided to give the Dyno-mites a try. Has anyone used those and can share their opinion. Also do you know of other places with a nice selection and good prices for purchasing size 15/0 and 11/0 glass seed beads.

that is so strange. I just done a discussion where i mentioned taking beading back up myself. wasnt what the discussion was about tho. anyway, i saw your post here after i posted my discussion. funny thing is, i also ordered from fire mountain. i love there beads. i got the small seed beads and more thread having misplaced my big spool some time ago. years in fact. they are great at fire mountain. even sent me a free gift of a little mag glass and tiny screw driver and screws. not sure why. but yes they are great.

I'll get my order on Wed. I'm really excited, I too had to get some thread and wire. I haven't found any place that can beat their prices. Have you used the Dyno-mite beads? I order quite a few of them and hope that I like the quality. I spent over a $100, but there are some bracelets I want to make in several different magazines. I'm hoping that maybe I can sell some of the things that I make. I'm looking around online for some place different other than Ebay and Etsy. Winkelf is no longer, I've got to see what Blujay is like and how it works. There's so many others selling also that is a tough task.
What are you making? Are you planning to sell your works?

havent tried the dynomite beads as im not even sure what that is. no, i just started back after about 15yrs of not doing it. i was surprised i could still remember daisy chain, zig zag, etc. im making a daisy chain necklace for my daughters birthday and dont know if i will try selling again. you dont really get much for all the time and such you devote to it. so much jewlry already on the market, cheap

I'm getting so I don't want to work with that small a bead any more, but there are loads of bead places online.

I rather doubt you are going to find a better price that Fire Mountain tho...
I do like to go and fondle the beads, look at them in the tubes rather than online, but since we have several really good bead stores in town, I'm lucky that way.

there are some others, but they don't really have an online service...
