The cultural growth of Marijuana has been on the up rise in recent years. Slowly becoming known as medical wonder but once criticized by taboo critics as a "harmful" drug to society. How could this be? Was it mistakenly categorized with the wrong impression? Why are pot-smokers viewed in such a negative light to others who do not enjoy its potent effects? These are questions I would like to dive deeper into and understand. Marijuana has been around for ages, it grows almost naturally in regions all over the world. It has been used in spiritual ceremony's that date back way before its prohibition. What makes this drug anymore harmful than the cigarettes companies who would sell their products to kids if they were allowed. People can exaggerate and say that Marijuana may destroy the fabric of society, but so has war, famine, poverty, and any drug harder then pot.
