I have baby after bath plug in for my bedroom, innocence plug in for my dining room and the new green threevolution in my kitchen. I often use oils to fragrence my lounge. How do you make your home smell nice?

well my house usually smells of cooked food :) but we use an oil burner in the living room too and the odd scented candle around the house but not to fond of lightening them incase the kids get a hold of them or knock them off the shelves :) would use the plug ins too but they tend to try and dring the wee bottles if they get a hold of them so there a big no no now aswell :p

bless you, food is a good homely smell unles sit's my burned offerings. I just got mine trained not to touch plug ins and candles, they're 7 and nearly 3. Give them some time and try when you can constantly supervise euntil they get bored of them.

I got a green 3volution one for my kitchen and there's still plenty left but even tho the fragrances rotate, I can't smell them any more. I've trained my boys to leave my candles alone because they seem to last better. Baby after bath smell wears off too, I still have one in my sons room but it doesn't smell either - maybe I just got used to it?

mines normally smells like cedar cause i have a fireplace. It smells like that or insense that my wife burns, I don't know what kind it is but they smell pretty good. My favorite smell though is when she's cooking and the whole house smells like food. Man she can cook :)

wow, a fire place and a wife that cooks good food, you are lucky. I have an old gas fire and a boyfriend that loves to moan about my cooking, bless him. Do you often burn cedar? We don't have much of it where I live in Englad but I love the smell. My mums house always smelt of baking when I was a kid, coming home to fresh bread, scones etc was lovely. I d oscones and friut pies for my boys, think I may have got a breadmaker for christmas off my dad - hope so anyway.

Scented candles or essential oil burners usually. Hate the smell of air freshener sprays! Never use them.

can't do sprays either because of asthma, have gone bakc to candles because the plugins don't seem to last and the novilty soon wore off.

it sounds gorgeous - good enough to eat, not sure about the cat smell, I'm glad you've learned how to clear the air.

Hi I mix mine up a bit sometimes I burn fragrant candles, sometimes incense which I have 8 types and have oil burners which I use different oils depending on the MOOD !! around 10 different oils . Candles make a room sometimes I dont like bright lights only for reading !!
@rainbow (6761)

I don't like bright light unless I'm doing crafts or reading either. Changing what you use around is a brilliant idea that way you can't get used to one smell and not notice it anymore - will try that - thanks.
