A suggestion box: How would you improve Mylot if you could?

I enjoy being able to spend time on this site; however, I recognize that there are things I'd occasionally like to drop into a Mylot suggestion box.
I'd love to be able to edit my posts. The reality is that sometimes I make mistakes and I recognize that. I want to be able to fix my posting flaws.
What would you like to drop into a Mylot suggestion box?

I'd make it so if you reply to somebody's comment in some discussion but don't leave your own, it would count in "discussion's I've replied to" (because now it doesn't). Also I'd make it so you earn $0.005 for a comment and $0.01 for new discussion. And of course an option to edit your posts.

There is NO set payment for posts here (and never will be). MyLot calculates earnings on a daily basis according to the quality of your participation. There is no suggestion at all, anywhere that you earn more for starting a discussion than you do for posting a response or comment. If you are not happy with the way that earnings are calculated, that is tough ... it has worked extremely well and fairly for over 6 years and is one of the main reasons why MyLot is able to pay us on time, every time.
You can easily review and edit your posts by getting into the habit of using the 'Preview' button. There are very good reasons why MyLot do not allow the editing of posts once they are posted which have been discussed in the discussions I mention in my response below.

lol I know how it is, I'm just saying how would I improve it since that's what this topic is about right?
Preview isn't enough since mylot is bugged and sometimes it wouldn't add a picture you uploaded. And sometimes there would be an update on the topic and you'd wish you could just add it to the main post instead of some reply that maybe nobody would read. All forums have edit option except for mylot and it's probably not there just because of the money making thing.

Actually, I would change the earning system completely.
You'd get $0.005 for a reply and $0.01 for a new discussion. Then after first 100 posts you'd get $0.01 for a reply and $0.02 for a new discussion. Then after 500 posts it would increase again and so on...
Also another thing. You have an option to rate every post with + or -
It would be good if the rating of each post would be visible.

This why mylot has the exclamation mark, so that you can also use it to express your comments, thoughts and ideas. It's not just for reporting someone abusing the system. I would like to reedit my discussions or response posts once they have been published, this one improvement I would like to see. Right now you have to contact admin to have something removed.

I would suggest that a PM to GoAskAlice would be more appropriate for expressing general comments, thoughts and ideas about MyLot. The [!] report button is designed to draw Admin's attention to a particular discussion and is anonymous (so Admin would find it hard to reply should he need to).
If you frequently feel the need to edit discussions, responses or comments, you should get into the habit of using the 'Preview' button before you post something. There are good reasons for not allowing the editing of posts once they have been posted. I think they were explained in this discussion: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1402356.aspx

You might be interested to look through the several discussions started by 'Crash' a while back under the titles "Admin for a Day". 'Crash' is the ID of someone quite influential in MyLot (he doesn't reveal quite what role he plays but one can draw one's own conclusions).

Many of the suggestions that people have are raised and discussed there and you will often find the authoritative reason why a particular requested feature is not implemented.

My mistake! Crash's discussion is here: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1402356.aspx and has a lot of interesting information. The "Admin for a Day" discussions were posted by GoAskAlice: http://www.mylot.com/goaskalice
