In this location, living environment is very good. People are friendship. Road is wide and quiet. This place is safe. I can do exercise on early morning without worrying. I can walk or sitting in front of my house every evening without any complains.
However, rent is high here. It's double to compare with my old house. If I want to live here, I must reduce some expenses such as shopping, entertainment etc...
How do you think? Should I reduce expenses to have better living environment?

It's ok to spend a much higher amount to the place you are staying in and besides there is really no place like home. If you feel you are more comfortable living there I think there would be no problem. We need a quiet and peaceful place for ourselves and this really help a lot in keeping us a healthier and better person.

If i were you, i would chose to stay in your current house. a good environment is really important for you to start a day's good mood. also it can be a motivity which push you to persue a better life. you know, sometimes we have to put ourselves under hard conditions, or we can not discover our real potencialities.

Maybe you're right. I will try to earn much more than for living. So, I will know what I can do the best, right? I love this idea. Thanks.

Well, it is upto you totally. If you can manage your raised expenses with your current income levels, it should not be a problem. However, if you really need to reduce your expenses, try to follow some tips:
1) Buy groceries/essential items in bulk, and try to buy them in offer at a nearby departmental store.
2) Try to walk more and use your vehicle less.
3)Try to reduce electricity usage in your house. Switch off when not required.
These are just some of the tips. You might have even more ideas yourself.

Some small things could create big values :) I'll do that. I can save money from small actions in my house, right. Thank you for your advice.

For me, it is better living in an expensive place where you are safe than to the other place where you can't sleep well at night because you are afraid someone will get inside your house to take your things. If I am with you, I will limit my expenses to which are necessary only. It is okay to sometimes you spend money for extra activities like going to movies and shopping but you should be practical. You should think needs first before wants. Spend wisely while living in luxury.

I like your idea "spend wisely" :) It's difficult to do this. However, I believe that I can do. Thank you for your sharing.
